Best of 2018 - Victoria

Voltámos depois do Natal para a continuação dos Best of do último ano. Se Mathilde esteve 98% das vezes bem em 2018, o contrário poderia ser dito da Princesa da Coroa da Suécia. Victoria é uma querida, mas eu tive sérias, MUITO sérias dificuldades em escolher apenas um look mau e ainda agora fico na dúvida se houve algum look diurno do qual tenha realmente gostado neste último ano.

We came back after Christmas for the continuation of the Best of last year. If Mathilde was 98% of the time sucessful in 2018, the opposite could be said of the Crown Princess of Sweden. Victoria is a darling, but I had serious, VERY serious difficulties in choosing only a bad look and I'm in doubt if there was any daytime look that I really liked this past year.

Apesar do look usado nos Nobel gritar Princesa em cada centímetro de tecido eu acho que o look usado durante o Jantar do Rei aos laureados com o Prémio Nobel ganha esta categoria. Também poderia facilmente ter escolhido o look usado durante o Jantar de Estado oferecido ao Presidente de Itália, com um colar de esmeraldas como bónus. Mesmas linhas, cores diferentes, mas a faixa faz toda a diferença aqui.

Despite the look worn in the Nobel's shouting Princess in every inch of fabric I think the look worn during the King's Dinner to the laureates with the Nobel Prize wins this category. The same could easly be said about the look worn during the State Dinner offered to the President of Italy, with a necklace of emeralds as a bonus. Same lines, different colors, but the sash makes all the difference here.

Categoria "Requinte é Classe" / " Polished is Classy" Category

Foi difícil. Muito difícil. Eu acho que a Visita de Estado de Itália à Suécia nos deu dois looks que podem salvar esta categoria. Optei por este, em detrimento do vestido azul-gelo usado na recepção de boas-vidas, porque, sem dúvida alguma, a combinação bordeux-rosa é sempre uma boa opção e porque Victoria sai muito mais beneficiada com um qualquer decote que não seja redondo.
It was hard. Very hard. I think the State Visit from Italy to Sweden has given us two looks that can save this category. I opted for this, instead of the ice-blue dress worn at the welcome reception, because, without a doubt, the combination bordeaux-pink is always a good option and because Victoria comes out much more benefited with any neckline that is not round.

No annus horribilis no que toca a moda para a Princesa sueca reinaram predominante dois essenciais no seu guarda-roupa: vestidos florais com decote alto redondo e fatos de calças e casaco de comprimentos duvidosos, quase sempre combinados com camisas com laços que em nada favorecem a futura Rainha da Suécia. Mas a combinação deste vestido de cetim, com estas meias pretas e aqueles sapatos superou qualquer coisa pavorosa que vimos em 2018 no reino sueco...
During the swedish Princess's annus horribilis in fashion there were mostly two essentials on her wardrobe: floral dresses with round neckline and trouser-jacket suits of doubtful length, almost always combined with bow neckline blouses that really don't favor the future Queen of Sweden. But the combination of this satin dress with these black tights and those shoes outweighed anything frightful we saw and 2018 in the Swedish kingdom ...
