Para um blogger real existem eventos de cobertura quase obrigatória. Para mim, existem eventos que tenho que assimilar muito bem antes de escrever sobre eles. Não é novidade para ninguém que tenho as minhas restrições sobre a Família do Principado do Mónaco e, se por um lado, falar de um evento onde está a família toda, é sempre uma boa ocasião, por outro lado, é difícil, muito difícil, transformar tudo o que não gostei, em algo positivo.
Mas se fosse fácil, este blog não existia! Então vamos lá!
For a royal blogger there are several mandatory coverage events. For me, there are events that I have to assimilate very well before writing about them. It is no news to anyone that I have my restrictions about the Monaco's Princely Family and if on the one hand, to talk about an event where the whole family is, it is always a good occasion, on the other hand, it is difficult, very difficult, to transform everything I did not like into something positive.

No passado dia 19, a família Grimaldi compareceu em peso às celebrações do Dia Nacional do Mónaco. As celebrações começaram com um serviço religioso Te Deum na Catedral de Saint Nicholas.

Posteriormente a família deslocou-se para o Pátio do Palácio do Principado onde ouviram o hino nacional. Este ano destaque especial para os homens da família: Albert II e os sobrinhos Andrea Casiraghi, Pierre Casiraghi e Louis Ducruet apresentaram-se de bigode. Segundo rumores trata-se de uma homenagem aos guardas do Palácio - os carabinieri - que celebram este ano o seu 200º aniversário e cujos membros deixaram crescer o bigode para a ocasião. Detesto bigodes, mas aqui fica a primeira nota positiva da dia: Homenagem!

This year something stood out for the men of the family: Albert II and his nephews Andrea Casiraghi, Pierre Casiraghi and Louis Ducruet presented themselves with mustache. According to rumors, it is a tribute to the guards of the Palace - the Carabinieri - who celebrate their 200th anniversary this year and whose members grew their mustache for the occasion. I hate mustaches, but here's the first positive note of the day: Homage!

Em relação às meninas...Vamos lá!! Charlene: Nunca sei muito bem o que esperar dela para este evento. Já me deslumbrou. Já me desiludiu. Este ano, a Consorte monegasca trouxe-nos uma tendência da estação: Veludo. Um casaco de veludo azul safira que completou com acessórios azuis (todos diferentes, ao que me parece!).

Gosto de ver Caroline rodeada pelos netos todos - Raphael, Sasha e India. A sua irmã Stephanie optou pela sobriedade com um toque de vermelho. Pontos positivos: a previsibilidade.

Tatiana Casiraghi. Ora bem, a esposa do filho mais velho da princesa Caroline, usou e abusou do vermelho. Apesar da indumentária se assemelhar a uma tenda de circo gigante, não posso dizer que não gostei. O cabelo poderia estar melhor arranjado, mas mesmo assim, o vermelho assenta maravilhosamente a Tatiana, que ao que parece, está à espera do terceiro filho. E olhem: ela usou um broche!

Beatrice Casiraghi. A esposa de Pierre era a minha grande esperança para repôr a elegância e o bom-gosto nesta família. Deu-me altas esperanças, mas nos últimos tempos não me tem dado muitas alegrias. Estava elegante sim, sem dúvida, a melhor do dia, mas ainda assim, aquele cabelo....Não!

I agree with everything you write my friend, and you know my view on this family. Every year I have a tiny little hope that we will see something 'dazzling' when it comes to this family, but no, It will never happen ;-)
