Post Semanal: Dia Nacional do Mónaco 2020 / Weekly Post: Monaco National Day 2020

Olá a todos. Espero que se encontrem bem. Voltámos para mais um post semanal. Estive quase, quase para voltar ao Reino Unido hoje - a Rainha e o Duque de Edimburgo celebram hoje 73 anos de casados. 73, minha gente!!

Mas achei que era altura de dar tempo T&T a outra casa real e por isso hoje vamos até ao Mónaco, onde ontem se festejou o Dia Nacional do Principado, onde reina o Príncipe Albert II e a sua consorte, a Princesa Charlene.

Hello everyone. I hope you are well. We went back for another weekly post. I was about to return to the UK today - the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh are celebrating 73 years of marriage today. 73, guys !!

But I thought it was time to give T&T time to another royal house and so today we are going to Monaco, where yesterday the National Day was celebrated, headed by Prince Albert II and his consort, Princess Charlene.

Este ano, as festividades foram marcadas pelas medidas de contingência devido à pandemia, mas isso não impediu os Grimaldis de cumprirem a maior parte da tradições deste dia de Feriado Nacional. O dia começou com uma Missa Solene de Acção de Graças na Catedral do Mónaco, à qual compareceram o Príncipe Albert, a Princesa Charlene, a Princesa de Hanover e outros membros da família real.

This year, the festivities were marked by contingency measures due the pandemic, but that did not stop the Grimaldis from fulfilling most of the traditions of this National Holiday. The day began with a Solemn Te Deum Service in the Cathedral of Monaco, attended by Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, the Princess of Hanover and other members of the royal family.

De seguida a família real, à qual se juntaram as crianças, assistiu à cerimónia militar no Pátio de Honra do Palácio Real. Este ano, as festividades assinalaram  os 15 anos de reinado de Albert II e os 150 anos da Companhia dos Guardas do Príncipe. E como resistir a uma continência do pequeno Príncipe Hereditário Jacques??

Then the royal family, to which the children were joined, attended the military ceremony in the Courtyard of Honor of the Royal Palace. This year, the festivities marked the 15th anniversary of Albert II's reign and the 150th anniversary of the Prince's Guards Company. And how to resist the militar salute of the little Hereditary Prince Jacques ??

Os grandes ausentes das celebrações este ano foram a Princesa Stephanie e as suas duas filhas, Pauline e Camilla, Charlotte Casiraghi e o seu marido e filhos, bem como os três filhos de Andrea Casiraghi e Tatiana Santo Domingo, pelo menos ausentes nas fotografias.

The big absentees from the celebrations this year were Princess Stephanie and her two daughters, Pauline and Camilla, Charlotte Casiraghi and her husband and children, as well as the three children of Andrea Casiraghi and Tatiana Santo Domingo, at least absent in the photographs.

Vamos para uma rápida análise dos looks das meninas?? Vamos sim, porque as festividades reais estão escassas e temos muitas coisas boas para dizer, o que é raro em 2020.... e quando falamos dos Grimaldi.

Já vi pior. Muito pior. Não sou muito fã do comprimento do casaco e das luvas, mas acho que podemos dar-lhe nota positiva, certo? Até  porque é impossível ficar mal ao lado daquelas duas crianças, que prestes a completarem 6 anos, estavam mais elegantes que muitos adultos.

I've seen worse. Much worse. I'm not a big fan of the length of the coat and the gloves, but I think we can give it a positive rating, right? Especially because it is impossible to look bad next to those adorable children, who, about to turn 6, were more elegant than many adults.

Esqueçamos a roupa, num look clássico Chanel, como é hábito, e reparemos e ADMIREMOS o facto da irmã mais velha de Albert II estar a assumir os seus cabelos brancos! É isso, irmã! Estamos juntas!!!!

Forget about the clothes, a classic Chanel outfit, as usual, and notice and ADMIRE the fact that Albert II's older sister is taking on her white hair! Rock on sister! We are together!!!!

Sinto que Tatiana percorreu um loooongo caminho nos últimos anos em ocasiões formais. E cada ano que passa, o meu sorriso é maior. Linda!!!

I feel that Tatiana has come a loooong way in recent years on formal occasions. And with each passing year, my smile is bigger. Beautiful!!!

Beatrice raramente me falha neste dia. E mais uma vez esteve super elegante. E obviamente que acredito que combinou com a cunhada e sogra irem as duas com bandoletes de veludo. Obviamente!!

Beatrice rarely let me down on this day. And again here she is, super stylish. And obviously I believe that she previously decided with her sister-in-law and mother-in-law to wear velvet headbands. Obviously!!

A única filha de Caroline que ostenta o titulo de Princesa estava simples com um casaco com um corte divino.

Marie Ducruet, esposa do filho mais velho da Princesa Stephanie escolheu uma combinação de cores preto e castanho e um estranho fascinator, que se confunde com madeixas do seu cabelo, MAS foi um grande progresso em relação ao ano passado. GRANDE PROGRESSO.

Marie Ducruet, wife of Princess Stephanie's eldest son, chose a combination of black and brown colors and a strange fascinator, which is easly confused with strands of her hair, BUT it was a great progress compared to last year. GREAT PROGRESS.

Termino a minha avaliação ao salientar que até à data, a família real do Mónaco apresenta as máscaras mais elegantes. Sóbrias,  reutilizáveis, personalizadas com o brasão de armas e ...EXISTENTES.
