Esplendor Real #58 / Royal Splendor #58

Não sei se é porque não falei de algumas visitas de estado aqui, se é porque o dia está cinzento e um extra-bling é sempre bem-vindo ou talvez seja porque não faço um Esplendor Real desde Dezembro de 2017 (!!), talvez seja por tudo isso e porque a Grã-Duquesa Hereditária Stéphanie do Luxemburgo usou recentemente a mais pequena tiara "floral" dos cofres do Grão-Ducado que resolvi trazer hoje a única tiara "floral" do Luxemburgo que realmente interessa.

Maybe it's because I have not covered some state visits here, or if it's because the day is gray and an extra-bling is always welcome or maybe it's because I have not made a Royal Splendor since December 2017 (!!), maybe for all this and because Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg has recently used the smallest "floral" tiara of the Grand Duchy's vaults which is why I have decided to bring today the only "floral" tiara in Luxembourg that really matters.

Tiara de Diamantes de Folhas de Videira / The Diamond Vine Leaves Tiara

Esta tiara assente em ouro amarelo e prata incorpora de forma bastante delicada vários motivos naturais, nomeadamente folhas de videira e bagas. Ao contrário do que se supõe esta tiara não tem nenhuns motivos florais incorporados, o que faz com que a designação de tiara floral, muitas vezes usada para descrever esta peça, seja errada. É a minha tiara favorita da casa de Nassau.

This tiara set in yellow gold and silver incorporates in a very delicate way several natural motifs, namely vine leaves and berries. Contrary to this assumption, this tiara has no built-in floral motifs, which makes the designation of a floral tiara, often used to describe this piece, to be wrong. It's my favorite tiara from the Nassau House.

Foi apenas muito recentemente que o Cour Grand-Ducale divulgou mais alguma informação sobre esta tiara, cuja proveniência ainda permanece um tanto misteriosa. Sabe-se que data de meados do século XIX e que pertence à Fundação da Família, ou seja, não pode ser vendida ou deixada em testamento. Partes da tiara podem ser usados como broches ou componentes de um colar, apesar de apenas termos visto esta tiara como uma peça única.

It was only very recently that the Cour Grand-Ducale divulged some more information about this tiara, whose provenance still remains somewhat mysterious. It is known that dates from the mid-nineteenth century and belongs to the Family Foundation, that is, can not be sold or left in a will. Parts of the tiara can be used as brooches or components of a necklace, although we have only seen this tiara as a single piece.

Segundo o site Luxarazzi esta tiara nunca foi usada pela sua primeira dona oficial, a Grã-Duquesa Charlotte. No entanto, as suas quatro filhas, Alix, Marie-Gabrielle, Elisabeth e Marie-Adelaide usaram esta tiara no dia dos seus casamentos. A Grã-Duquesa Joséphine-Charlotte, mãe do Grão-Duque Henri, apenas usou esta tiara uma vez. Já a actual Grã-Duquesa do Luxemburgo, Maria Teresa, usou esta peça várias vezes, tornando-se uma das suas tiaras favoritas.

According to the Luxarazzi website this tiara has never been worn by its first official owner, Grand Duchess Charlotte. However, her four daughters, Princesses Alix, Marie-Gabrielle, Elisabeth and Marie-Adelaide wore this tiara on their wedding day. Grand Duchess Josephine-Charlotte, mother of Grand Duke Henri, only wore this tiara once. Fot other hand,  the current Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, Maria Teresa, used this piece several times, becoming one of her favorite tiaras.

Em 2012, a Condessa Stéphanie de Lannoy usou esta tiara na véspera do seu casamento com Guillaume, Grão-Duque Hereditário do Luxemburgo. Foi a primeira vez que Stéphanie usou uma tiara dos cofres luxemburgueses, naquele que foi até à data, o meu look de gala favorito da futura Grã-Duquesa do Luxemburgo.

In 2012, Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy wore this tiara on the eve of her marriage to Guillaume, the Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg. It was the first time that Stéphanie wore a tiara from the Luxembourg vaults, in what has been my favorite gala dress of the future Grand Duchess of Luxembourg EVER.

Em 2013, Claire Lademacher escolheu esta peça para a cerimónia religiosa de casamento com o Príncipe Félix do Luxemburgo. Félix é dono de vinhas na França e a escolha de Claire não só acabou sendo um tributo às noivas do passado que escolheram esta peça para o dia do seu casamento, como também incorporou um simbolismo muito especial.

In 2013, Claire Lademacher chose this piece for the religious wedding ceremony with Prince Felix of Luxembourg. Felix owns vineyards in France and the choice of Claire not only ended up being a tribute to the brides of the past who chose this piece for their wedding day, but also incorporated a very special symbolism.

Em 2016, quando celebrava o seu 10º (e último) aniversário de casamento, a Princesa Tessy do Luxemburgo também usou esta tiara num look inesquecível por ocasião do Dia Nacional do Luxemburgo. O divórcio entre a Princesa Tessy e o Príncipe  Louis, terceiro filho do Grão Duque e Gão Duquesa do Luxemburgo,  seria anunciado no ano seguinte e finalizado em 2019.

In 2016, when celebrating her 10th (and last) wedding anniversary, Princess Tessy of Luxembourg also wore this tiara in an unforgettable look on the occasion of the Luxembourg National Day. The divorce between Princess Tessy and Prince Louis, the third son of the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, would be announced the following year and finalized in 2019.

Para mim, uma peça encantadora perfeita para qualquer look.
