E quem nos consegue dar chapéus e tiaras no mesmo dia? A nossa Maxi, claro! Pode já ser Verão, mas os compromissos oficiais do nosso gang real estão longe de acabar. O Rei Willem-Alexander e a Rainha Máxima da Holanda estão numa Visita de Estado a Itália a convite do Presidente da República Sergio Mattarella de 20-23 de Junho. O casal real vai também ser recebido por Sua Santidade, o Papa, na cidade do Vaticano.
And guess who can give us hats and tiaras on the same day? Our Maxi, of course! It may already be summer, but the official commitments of our royal gang are far from over. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands are on a State Visit to Italy at the invitation of President Sergio Mattarella from 20-23 June. The royal couple will also be received by His Holiness the Pope in the Vatican City.
Dia/ Day 1 - Roma
No primeiro dia de uma visita que visa o fortalecimento dos laços políticos, económicos e culturais, e interesses comuns entre os dois países, o casal real holandês foi recebido pelo Presidente Mattarella no Palácio Quirinal. O Presidente Italiano fez-se acompanhar pela sua filha Laura Mattarella.
On the first day of a visit to strengthen political, economic and cultural ties and common interests between the two countries, the Dutch royal couple were welcomed by President Mattarella at the Quirinal Palace. The Italian President was accompanied by his daughter Laura Mattarella.
Posteriormente o Rei e a Rainha reuniram com o Presidente do Senado, Pietro Grasso, e tiveram um almoço de trabalho com o Primeiro-Ministro Italiano Paolo Gentiloni.
Later the King and Queen met with the President of the Senate, Pietro Grasso, and had a working lunch with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni.
Mais tarde Willem-Alexander e Máxima depositaram uma grinalda de flores no Túmulo do Soldado Desconhecido, no ex libris de Roma, Altar della Patria.

O casal real aproveitou ainda o seu primeiro dia de visita para reunir com a Presidente da Câmara dos deputados, Laura Boldrini e com a Presidente da Câmara de Roma, Virginia Raggi.
The royal couple then meet with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Laura Boldrini and with the Mayor of Rome, Virginia Raggi.
Durante o dia, a Rainha Maxima escolheu um delicado vestido Natan, anteriormente já visto na Rainha Mathilde da Bélgica (SURPRESA!!). A completar um chapéu à la Maxima e jóias discretas.
During the day, Queen Maxima chose a delicate Natan dress, previously seen in Queen Mathilde of Belgium (SURPRISE !!). To complete a true Maxi-hat and discreet jewelry.

De noite, o Presidente Mattarella ofereceu um banquete de Estado em homenagem aos seus convidados.
In the evening, President Mattarella offered a state banquet in honor of his guests.
"Em Roma, sê Romano", diz o famoso provérbio. E Máxima usou vermelho em vestido e jóias. A Rainha consorte da Holanda usou um vestido Jan Taminiau anteriormente visto numa fotografia divulgada por ocasião do 50º aniversário do Rei Willem-Alexander em Abril.
"In Rome, be Roman," says the famous proverb. And Maxima wore red on dress and jewels. The Queen Consort of the Netherlands wore a Jan Taminiau dress previously seen in a photograph released on the occasion of King Willem-Alexander's 50th birthday in April.

Willem-Alexander e Máxima tiveram algumas caras conhecidas no jantar. O famoso designer italiano Valentino esteve presente. Valentino desenhou, nem mais nem menos, do que o vestido de noiva de Maxima em 2002.
Willem-Alexander and Máxima had some familiar faces at dinner. The famous Italian designer Valentino was present. Valentino drew, no more and no less, than Maxima's wedding dress in 2002.
Os Reis da Holanda puderam contar também com a presença de membros da sua família. O Príncipe Jaime e a Princesa Viktoria de Bourbon e Parma. Jaime é primo do Rei e filho da Princesa Irene da Holanda.
The King and Queen were also able to count on the presence of members of their family. Prince Jaime and Princess Viktoria of Bourbon and Parma. Jaime is cousin of the King and son of Princess Irene of the Netherlands.
Viktoria usou um leve vestido amarelo e algumas peças do cofre real holandês, como a Antique Pearl Tiara, sem as pérolas. Esta foi a primeira tiara usada pela então noiva do Príncipe de Orange, Maxima Zorreguieta.
Viktoria wore a light yellow dress and some pieces of the royal Dutch vault, like the Antique Pearl Tiara, without the pearls. This was the first tiara worn by the then fiancee of the Prince of Orange, Maxima Zorreguieta.
Dia/ Day 2 - Palermo/Roma
Ontem Willem-Alexander e Máxima rumaram até Palermo, capital da Sicília para uma visita onde os direitos humanos e a cultura estiveram em cima da mesa.
Yesterday Willem-Alexander and Máxima went to Palermo, capital of Sicily for a visit where human rights and culture were on the table.
O casal real reuniu na sede policial da ilha italiana, para saber mais sobre a cooperação policial e judicial desenvolvida pela Itália e pela Holanda contra o tráfico humano. A abordagem concentra-se em deter organizações criminosas que transportam imigrantes de forma ilegal do norte de África para a Europa, através do Mediterrâneo.
The royal couple gathered at the Italian island's police headquarters to learn more about the police and judicial cooperation developed by Italy and the Netherlands against human trafficking. The approach focuses on deterring criminal organizations that transport illegal immigrants from North Africa to Europe across the Mediterranean.
O casal real conversou com vários administradores e voluntários que trabalham directamente com o acolhimento aos migrantes, e conversaram com alguns deles para melhor conhecerem as suas histórias de fuga, medo e perseguição.
The royal couple talked to several administrators and volunteers who work directly with the migrants, and talked to some of them to better know their stories of escape, fear and persecution.
O Rei e Rainha Holandeses passearam posteriormente pelo centro histórico de Palermo acompanhados pelo presidente local Leoluca Orlando. O casal recebeu o calor, carinho e boa-disposição do povo siciliano durante uma visita ao mercado local onde não resistiram a provar as maravilhosas iguarias que a cozinha mediterrânea tem para oferecer.
The Dutch King and Queen later strolled through the historic center of Palermo accompanied by the Mayor Leoluca Orlando. The couple received the warmth, joy and good mood of the Sicilian people during a visit to the local market where they did not resist to taste the wonderful delicacies that the Mediterranean cuisine has to offer.
Durante a visita Willem-Alexander e Máxima tiveram ainda a oportunidade de visitar o Palazzo Reale, sede do Parlamento da Sicília e a Capela Palatina, a antiga capela privada dos Reis da Sicília, datada de 1130-40.
During the visit, Willem-Alexander and Máxima also had the opportunity to visit the Palazzo Reale, seat of the Parliament of Sicily and the Palatine Chapel, the former private chapel of the Kings of Sicily, dating from 1130-40.
Eu não sei quanto a vocês, mas eu não consigo resistir à nossa Máxima de branco e acessórios ouro/camel. Nunca resisto mesmo!

De noite, de volta a Roma, o casal real ofereceu ao Presidente Mattarella a às autoridades italianas um concerto de retribuição pela hospitalidade recebida, no Palazzo Colonna.
In the evening, back in Rome, the royal couple offered President Mattarella and the Italian authorities a concert of retribution for the hospitality they received at the Palazzo Colonna.
Maxi voltou a apostar nos decotes assimétricos e em mais uma reciclagem. Desta vez, a Rainha consorte holandesa voltou a usar um vestido rosa blush criado por Valentino e que foi pela primeira vez usado em 2004, numa versão ligeiramente diferente.
Maxi returned to bet on asymmetric necklines and another recycling gown. This time, the Dutch Queen consort wore a pink blush dress created by Valentino and was first used in 2004 in a slightly different version.
Maxima usou o cabelo solto, ligeiramente ondulado. O grande bling veio em forma de broche. Um grande broche que pode ser usado de várias formas com ou sem pendentes. Maxima usou a versão sem pendentes.
Maxima wore loose, slightly wavy hair. The big bling came in the form of a brooch. A great brooch that can be used in many ways with or without pendants. Maxima used the non-pendant version.
