Que melhor forma de começar o dia do que com a revelação do nome de um novo príncipe (ver aqui), e com a celebração de dois aniversários? E o que acontece geralmente quando temos aniversários?? Pois é.....novas Fotos!!
What better way to start  a new day than with the revelation of the name of a new prince (see here), and the celebration of two birthdays? And what usually happens when we have birthdays?? Yeah...new Photos !!

Comecemos pela Dinamarca, porque há imenso tempo que não tínhamos novas fotos oficiais da Princesa Isabella que hoje celebra o seu 9º aniversário...

A luz, a inocência e a beleza das fotos falam por si. Bella usa uma pulseira muito especial. Em 1915 Ingrid (née Princesa Ingrid da Suécia) recebeu da sua mãe Margaret (née Princesa Margaret de Connaught) uma pulseira de ouro. Mais tarde Ingrid decidiu (porque Ingrid adorava uma boa tradição) oferecê-la à sua filha mais velha a futura rainha Margrethe da Dinamarca, que a passou anos depois para a sua primeira neta Isabella no seu 5º aniversário.
The light, innocence and beauty of the pictures speak for itself. Bella uses a very special bracelet. In 1915 Ingrid (née Princess Ingrid of Sweden) received from her mother Margaret (née Princess Margaret of Connaught) a gold bracelet. Later Ingrid decided (because Ingrid loves a good tradition) to offer it to her eldest daughter the future Queen Margrethe of Denmark, who passed it years later for her first granddaughter Isabella in her 5th anniversary.

Hoje também desejamos um Feliz Aniversário à figura que nos vem imediatamente à cabeça quando pensamos em realeza: A Rainha de Inglaterra.
Elizabeth II comemora hoje o seu 90º aniversário e um conjunto de três fotografias foi divulgado. Os retratos são da autoria da conceituada fotógrafa Annie Leibovitz e foram tiradas no Castelo de Windsor em Março.
Today we also wish a Happy Birthday to a figure that comes immediately to our minds when we think of royalty: The Queen of England.
Elizabeth II today celebrates her 90th anniversary and a set of three photographs was released. The pictures were taken by the renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz  at Windsor Castle in March.


O primeiro retrato, e talvez o mais fantástico de todos junta a Rainha e os seus dois netos mais novos (Lady Louise Windsor e James, Visconde Severn) e os cinco bisnetos ( Savannah e Isla Philips, Mia Tindall, Príncipe George e a Princesa Charlotte de Cambridge). Mia Tindall terá apanhado a famosa mala da bisavó do chão e a Rainha terá achado o gesto tão espontâneo que quis manter essa fotografia.
The first picture, and perhaps the most fantastic of all joins the Queen and her two young grandchildren (Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn) and her five great-grandchildren (Savannah and Isla Philips, Mia Tindall, Prince George and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge). Mia Tindall his holding her great-grandmother's famous handbag and the Queen found that gesture so spontaneous  that she wanted to keep this picture version.

Noutra fotografia, a Rainha aparece no exterior com os seus cinco fiéis companheiros: Willow, Vulcan, Candy e Holly.

Numa terceira fotografia mais intimista a Rainha aparece com a sua única filha, a Princesa Real, Anne.
In a third more intimate photograph the Queen appears with her only daughter, the Princess Royal, Anne.

Adorei os três retratos mas espero que não fiquemos por aqui. Penso que um retrato com os seus filhos também é desejado e acima de tudo um com o seu companheiro de vida, o Príncipe Philip.
I loved the three pictures but I hope we have more. I think a picture with all her sons is also desired and above all with her life partner, Prince Philip.

Entretanto está disponível no Youtube o tributo à Rainha por ocasião do seu 90º aniversário, numa entrevista dada à Sky News por alguns membros da família real.
Meanwhile it is available on Youtube a Tribute to the Queen on the occasion of her 90th birthday, in an interview for Sky News featuring some members of the royal family.


Hoje na BBCOne às 9.00 pm (Hora britânica) irá para o ar "Elizabeth at 90 - A Family Tribute". Um tributo liderado pelo Príncipe de Gales que reune vários testemunhos da família real compilados em homenagem à sua matriarca e soberana.
Today on BBC One at 9.00 pm (UK Time) will be aired "Elizabeth at 90 - A Family Tribute". A tribute led by the Prince of Wales that gathers several royal family testimonies  compiled in honor of their matriarch and sovereign.
