We came back wanting to get the house in order, starting with the late posts from the various summer photo shoots of some of our favorite royal houses.

No passado dia 19 de Julho o Rei Willem-Alexander e a Rainha Máxima da Holanda deixaram-se fotografar com as suas três filhas, Catharina-Amalia, Princesa de Orange, a Princesa Alexia e a Princesa Ariane na sua habitual sessão fotográfica de Verão.
On July 19th King Willem-Alexander and the Queen Máxima of the Netherlands were photographed with their three daughters, Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange, Princess Alexia and Princess Ariane, in their usual Summer photoshoot.

A sessão fotográfica de verão teve lugar no Palácio Huis ten Bosch em Haia. Este palácio é uma das três residências oficiais do monarca holandês. Huis ten Boch foi a residência principal da Rainha Beatrix de 1981 até à sua abdicação em 2014. O seu filho e sucessor, Willem-Alexander mudou-se para esta residência, com a sua família, em Janeiro de 2019, após uma extensa renovação.
The summer photoshoot took place at the Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague. This palace is one of the three official residences of the Dutch monarch. Huis ten Boch was Queen Beatrix's main residence from 1981 until her abdication in 2014. Her son and successor, Willem-Alexander moved to this residence with her family in January 2019 after an extensive renovation.

The Huis ten Bosch Palace is a 17th-century national monument. It is a complex of 16 hectares. The palace is a great symbol of Dutch historical and cultural heritage and was the primary residence of three Dutch monarchs: Wilhelmina, Beatrix and now Willlem-Alexander.

As três filhas adolescentes do casal real foram a grandes protagonistas da sessão.
The royal couple's three teenage daughters were the protagonists of the session.

Catharina-Amalia , 15 anos, está uma jovem mulher muito bonita, com um longo cabelo louro que já é a sua imagem de marca.

Alexia, 14 anos, é a beleza exótica da família. Ruiva e com sardas, a segunda filha do Rei e Rainha da Holanda, é uma mini-Máxima.
Alexia, 14, is the exotic beauty of the family. Redhead and freckled, the second daughter of the King and Queen of the Netherlands, is a mini-Máxima.

Ariane, 12 anos, começa agora a abandonar as feições de menina. A benjamim da família é uma miniatura do seu pai e não perdeu aquele ar travesso que sempre a caracterizou.
Ariane, 12, is now starting to abandon her girlish features. The family benjamin is a miniature of her father and did not lose that mischievous air that always characterized her.

Como é hábito as fotografias espelham a grande união e amor entre pais e filhas. A boa-disposição, humor e afectos foi uma constante.
As usual, this photo session mirrors the great union and love between parents and daughters. The good mood, laughs and affection was a constant.

As meninas estão a crescer, aparentemente, com personalidades bem distintas que se reflectem na sua forma de vestir. Enquanto Catharina-Amalia tem um estilo mais romântico e feminino mas com apontamentos modernos, Alexia é mais ousada e extravagante e Ariane mais simples e casual.
The girls are apparently growing up with very distinct personalities that are reflected in how they dress. While Catharina Amalia has a more romantic and feminine style but with modern notes, Alexia is bolder and daring, while Ariane is more simple and casual.

Além de tudo isso, parecem-me três irmãs bem unidas com uma excelente relação entre o seu estatuto oficial e liberdade pessoal.
On top of all this, I think the three sisters are closely united with an excellent relationship between their official status and personal freedom.
