Princesa da Coroa Mary abre o Festival Floral de Odense / Crown Princess Mary at the opening of the Odense Flower Festival

E é tempo da Família Real Dinamarquesa retomar a sua agenda oficial. Enquanto a Rainha Margrethe II ainda se encontra de férias em França, a Princesa da Coroa Mary voltou aos actos oficiais. Como geralmente é costume, um dos seus primeiros compromissos oficiais da rentrée é a abertura do Festival Floral de Odense.

And it's time for the Danish Royal Family to resume its official agenda. While Queen Margrethe II is still on holiday in France, Crown Princess Mary has returned to official acts. As usual, one of her first official rentrée engagements is the opening of the Odense Flower Festival.

Mary é Patrona deste festival anual que conta, todos os anos, com a beleza de mais de 100.000 plantas ornamentadas em diferentes configurações. Este ano o festival comemora o seu 20º aniversário e, apropriadamente, o tema deste ano centrou-se na passagem do tempo.

Mary is Patron of this annual festival, which each year boasts the beauty of over 100,000 ornate plants in different configurations. This year the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary and, appropriately, this year's theme focused on the passage of time.

É a quarta vez que Mary comparece à abertura deste festival, onde baptizou uma nova Hortênsia que recebeu o nome de "Princesa da Paixão".

It is the fourth time Mary has attended the opening of this festival, where she baptized a new Hydrangea named "Princess of the Passion."

Når sommeren går på hæld, blomstrer det i Odense, hvor over 100.000 planter i forskellige opsætninger er udsmykket til byens årlige blomsterfestival. Som protektor åbnede H.K.H. Kronprinsessen i dag festivalen, der denne sæson fejrer 20-års jubilæum. Årets tema er derfor ”På tidsrejse: Med tiden i centrum”, og ved dagens åbning mødte Kronprinsessen mange af de gartnere og frivillige, der har arbejdet på at gøre festivalen klar. Det er fjerde gang, at Hendes Kongelige Højhed åbner Odense Blomsterfestival, og ved dagens åbning navngav Kronprinsessen en ny hortensia, der fik navnet ”Princess of Passion”. Mary, recebida pelo Presidente da câmara de Odense, fez um tour pelo recinto do festival, apreciando todos os arranjos florais e conversando com vários voluntários. A Princesa da Coroa escolheu um vestido floral com um padrão vibrante, sendo embora uma escolha previsível para um festival floral, absolutamente perfeito.

Mary, welcomed by the Mayor of Odense, toured the festival grounds, enjoying all the flower arrangements and talking to various volunteers. The Crown Princess has chosen a floral dress with a vibrant pattern, though it is a predictable choice for a floral festival, was just perfect on her.
