Vestidos midi florais: uma tendência bem real / Floral midi dresses: a very royal trend

Neste meu cantinho no hemisfério norte, os dias que se avizinham são de Primavera com cheiro a Verão e apesar do meu estilo de roupa não ter mudado muito nos últimos meses enquanto mãe a tempo inteiro, a verdade é que não fico indiferente ao que as nossas meninas vestem. Só nesta semana foram muitos os vestidos midi que é como quem diz, vestidos-pela-canela, que vimos na passadeira real. Mas não são vestidos midi quaisquer. São vestidos midi com padrão floral, porque a Primavera não chegou só aqui.

In my little corner of the northern hemisphere, the spring days ahead are summer-smelling and although my clothing style has not changed much in recent months as a stay-home mum, the truth is that I'm not indifferent to what our girls wear. Just this week were many midi dresses, aka calf or ankle-height dresses, which we saw on the royal catwalk. But they are not simple midi dresses. They are midi dresses with floral pattern, because Spring has come, not only in Portugal.

Queen Letizia inaugurated the parade with this model in blue tones that completed with matchy accessories for the ceremony of delivery of the XI Santander Social Project Awards. I like the pattern, but I'm not a fan of the dress cut. Neither of Leti's current haircut. Sorry.

Padrão floral para uma feira de jardinagem? Inovador! É a Kate que temos. Mas não sejamos pessoas ruins. O vestido é muito bonito e a Duquesa de Cambridge foi co-autora do projecto "Back to Nature" que esteve em exposição no RHS Chelsea Flower Show, que a meu ver, estava somente espectacular. Os seus três filhos e marido parecem concordar.
Floral pattern for a flower show? Ground breaking! It's our usual Kate. But let's not be evil people. The dress is very beautiful and the Duchess of Cambridge was co-author of the project "Back to Nature" that was on display at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, which I think it is just spectacular. Her three children and husband seem to agree.

A Princesa da Coroa Victoria da Suécia é talvez a grande embaixadora dos vestidos midi com padrões florais. Na semana passada Victoria e a sua mãe, a Rainha Sílvia, receberam a Rainha Sofia de Espanha e a Princesa Takamado do Japão para um almoço. Victoria optou por um vestido midi em tons rosa e púrpura. Pena é que este tipo de vestidos não favoreça muito a futura Rainha da Suécia.
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is perhaps the great ambassador of midi dresses with floral patterns. Last week Victoria and her mother, Queen Silvia, hosted Queen Sofia of Spain and Princess Takamado of Japan for lunch. Victoria opted for a midi dress in pink and purple. It is a pity that this type of dress does not favor much the future Queen of Sweden.

Também a Rainha Mathilde da Bélgica não abriu mão de um vestido que quase entra na categoria dos vestidos de comprimento duvidoso. O Rei e  Rainha dos Belgas compareceram ao Concurso Internacional de Música Rainha Elizabeth. O padrão é bonito, mas a combinação não foi muito feliz.

Also Queen Mathilde of Belgium did not give up a dress that almost falls into the category of dresses with doubtful length. The King and Queen of the Belgians attended the Queen Elizabeth International Music Competition. The pattern is beautiful, but the styling was not very happy.

E depois temos Mary...Eu sei, eu sei, é um pouco nojento a maneira como eu me derreto com a Princesa da Coroa dinamarquesa, mas qualquer pessoa com algum gosto, independentemente da opinião que possa ter de Mary, terá que concordar: esta mulher arrasa qualquer trapinho que use!!!!
And then there's Mary ... I know, I know, it's a little disgusting the way I melt with the Danish Crown Princess, but anyone with any taste, no matter what you think about Mary, will have to agree, this woman rocks anything she wears !!!!
