Já aqui tinha comentado que achava que este primeiro trimestre de 2019 estava muito tranquilo para a generalidade das casas reais das quais aqui falamos regularmente. Eu diria até que em certos países as coisas estão a andar a um ritmo demasiado lento. Ora bem, mas eis que me confronto com três visitas de estado esta semana, às quais não consigo ficar indiferente.
I had already commented here that I thought that this first quarter of 2019 was very quiet for most of the royal houses we covered regularly. I would even say that in certain countries things are moving at a too slow pace. Well, but here I am confronted with three state visits this week, which I must talk about.

Começamos logo com uma surpresa. É certo que não podemos comparar um Principado a um Reino no que diz respeito ao número de Visitas de Estado anuais. Ainda assim, eu juro que não me lembro de alguma vez ter falado aqui no T&T de uma visita de estado que tenha envolvido o Mónaco e....a sua Princesa Consorte.
We start with a surprise. It is true that we can not compare a Principality to a Kingdom with respect to the number of annual State Visits. Still, I swear I can't remember ever speaking here on T & T of a state visit that involved Monaco and ... his Princess Consort.

É verdade, no passado Domingo, o Presidente da República Popular da China, XI Jinping e a sua elegante Primeira-Dama PENG Liyuan (presenças já regulares neste espaço) visitaram o Mónaco, onde foram recebidos pelo Príncipe Albert II e pela Princesa Charlène. Foi uma visita relâmpago e não não houve banquete de estado. A surpresa não poderia ser total, senão corríamos o risco de sermos mimados em demasia.
That's right,  last Sunday the President of the People's Republic of China, XI Jinping and his elegant First Lady PENG Liyuan (already regular in this space) visited Monaco, where they were received by Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène. It was a flash visit and there was no state banquet. The surprise could not be total, otherwise we ran the risk of being spoiled too much.

Ainda assim, adorei a descontracção com que decorreu esta visita e o facto de Albert e Charlène terem incluído os seus dois filhos, Jacques e Gabriella no tour oferecido pelo Palácio aos ilustres visitantes. 
Still, I loved the relax mode with which this visit took place and the fact that Albert and Charlène had included their two children, Jacques and Gabriella on the tour offered by the Palace to the illustrious visitors.



 Não sei se os gémeos seguiram à risca o tour e resolveram trazer as suas bicicletas ou se terão sido oferta do casal presidencial chinês. Provavelmente a segunda opção.
I do not know if the twins followed the tour strictly and decided to bring their bikes with them or if they were a gift from the Chinese presidential couple. Probably the second option.

 [Palais Princier de Monaco]

 Tenho a sensação que já não falo de Letizia há milénios aqui no T&T. A verdade é que fiquei um pouco incomodada com ela em 2018, mas já passou Leti, já passou. Felipe VI e Letizia de Espanha chegaram Domingo à noite à Argentina para uma Visita de Estado de 3 dias a convite do Presidente Mauricio Macri e da Primeira Dama Juliana Awada aka portadores de boas-novas no-que-diz-respeito-a-jóias-reais-há-muito-desaparecidas! Lembram-se deles?
I have the feeling that I have not spoken of Letizia in ages here in T & T. The truth is that I was a little annoyed with her in 2018, but Leti we are cool again, okay?. Felipe VI and Letizia of Spain arrived Sunday night in Argentina for a 3-day State Visit at the invitation of President Mauricio Macri and First Lady Juliana Awada aka bearers-of-good-news-regarding-long-time-unseen-royal-jewels! ! Do you remember them?


Aqui estão eles todos bonitos, na Casa Rosada, durante a recepção oficial ao casal real espanhol no arranque do primeiro dia de visita.
Mais uma vez Letizia e Juliana estiveram irrepreensíveis em elegância e muito cúmplices.
Here they are all beautiful, at the Casa Rosada, during the official welcome to the Spanish royal couple at the start of the first day of visit.
Once again, Letizia and Juliana were impeccable in elegance and very accomplices.

Como é hábito em visitas de estado à América do Sul, o código de vestuário não exige uso de tiara e ordens. Sendo assim resta-nos esperar por uma maravilhoso vestido de cocktail, um penteado fantástico e uns acessórios deslumbrantes.
As usual in state visits to South America, the dress code usually does not require wearing tiara and orders. That way we can only wait for a wonderful cocktail dress, fantastic hairstyle and stunning accessories.

Finalmente o Rei Philippe e a Rainha Mathilde dos Belgas começaram ontem uma visita de Estado de 4 dias à Coreia do Sul.  O casal chegou ontem a Seul onde foi recebido numa cerimónia de boas-vindas.
Finally King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians began a 4-day State visit to South Korea yesterday. The couple arrived in Seoul yesterday where they were received at a welcoming ceremony.

Após um breve descanso no hotel, o casal real visitou o Museu de Mobiliário da Coreia onde foi recebido com uma tradicional cerimónia do chá. Mathilde optou por cores suaves em tecidos ricos e estruturados como é bem o seu estilo.
After a brief rest at the hotel, the royal couple visited the Korean Furniture Museum where they were greeted with a traditional tea ceremony. Mathilde opted for soft colors in rich, structured fabrics. Her usual signature style.



No segundo dia de visita Philippe e Mathilde foram recebidos pelo Presidente da Coreia do Sul Moon Jae-in e pela Primeira-Dama Kim Jung-sook, mas antes compareceram a uma cerimónia de homenagem aos mortos da Guerra da Coreia e uma visita ao monumento Belga na presença de vários veteranos de guerra.
On the second day of the visit, Philippe and Mathilde were greeted by South Korea's President Moon Jae-in and First-Lady Kim Jung-sook, but before they attended a ceremony honoring the dead of the Korean War and a visit to the Belgian monument in the presence of several war veterans.



Adorei este conjunto de Mathilde. Bem ao seu estilo. Combinação de cores fantástica.
I loved this set from Mathilde. Pretty much her style. Fantastic color combination.
