E sem mais demoras rumamos à Dinamarca para vos contar tudo sobre o que anda um certo futuro Rei a fazer em conexão com o seu 50º aniversário que se celebra já no próximo Sábado.

H.K.H. Kronprinsen overrakte i dag legater fra Crown Prince Frederik Fund, der i år kan fejre 25-års jubilæum. Legatoverrækkelsen fandt sted i Alexandersalen på Christiansborg Slot. Her uddelte Kronprinsen legater til Sara Normann Thordsen og Jakob Ullegård. Crown Prince Frederik Fund kan i år fejre 25-års jubilæum, og i den anledning forestod Kronprinsen i dag en overrækkelse af legatet. Fondens formål er at yde økonomisk støtte til studerende indenfor samfundsvidenskaberne til ét års studie ved John F. Kennedy School of Government på Harvard University, USA. Crown Prince Frederik Fund er en folkegave, som Kronprinsen fik af dansk-amerikanere i 25-års fødselsdagsgave under sine studier ved Harvard University. Det var i forbindelse med sit studie på Aarhus Universitet, at Kronprinsen i 1992-1993 læste statskundskab ved Harvard University. Her tog Kronprinsen fortrinsvis sine fag på J.F. No dia 18 de Maio, o Príncipe herdeiro apresentou Bolsas da Fundação Crown Prince Frederik na Sala Alexander, no Palácio de Christiansborg. A fundação e seus fundos foram um presente que o príncipe herdeiro recebeu dos dinamarqueses-americanos como um presente pelo seu 25º aniversário, durante o período em que estudou na Universidade de Harvard, nos Estados Unidos.
Este ano, Frederik atribuiu algumas bolsas da Fundação Crown Prince Frederik pela 25ª vez, e, em conexão com o evento, o príncipe herdeiro cumprimentou um número de ex-beneficiários do subsídio.
O objetivo da fundação é oferecer apoio económico aos alunos com foco nas ciências sociais para um ano de estudos na Escola de Governo John F. Kennedy, da Universidade de Harvard, em Boston, EUA.
On 18 May, the Crown Prince presented grants from the Crown Prince Frederik Fund in the Alexander Room at Christiansborg Palace. The foundation and its funds were a gift The Crown Prince received from Danish-Americans as a 25th birthday present during The Crown Prince’s studies at Harvard University. This year, The Crown Prince presented grants from the Crown Prince Frederik Foundation for the 25th time, and, in connection with the event, The Crown Prince greeted a number of former grant recipients.The foundation’s goal is to offer economic support to students focusing on the social sciences for a year’s study at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in Boston, USA.

No mesmo dia o Príncipe Herdeiro Frederik, acompanhado pela Princesa da Herdeira Mary, ofereceu um jantar aos directores do Conselho Administrativo e a parceiros da Fundação Crown Prince Frederik. O jantar decorreu no Palácio Frederik VII, em Amalienborg.
Later on the day, the Crown Prince Couple hosted a dinner for the board of directors and partners of the Crown Prince Frederik Foundation. The jubilee dinner took place at Frederik VIII’s Palace, Amalienborg.

Para comemorar o seu aniversário o Príncipe herdeiro da Dinamarca convidou todos os dinamarqueses a inscreverem-se na Royal Run, uma prova de corrida a decorrer nas cidades de Aalborg, Aarhus, Esbjerg, Odense e Copenhaga. As corridas tinham duas modalidades One Mile (1.609km) e 10km. 
To celebrate his birthday the Crown Prince of Denmark invited all Danes to join the Royal Run, a race event taking place in the cities of Aalborg, Aarhus, Esbjerg, Odense and Copenhagen. The races had two modes One Mile (1.609km) and 10km.

Frederik começou o dia em Alborg a correr a One Mile onde contou com a companhia de 7.000 participantes.

Entretanto em Copenhaga, a sua esposa, a Princesa da Coroa Mary e os seus quatro filhos, o Príncipe Christian, a Princesa Isabella, o Príncipe Vincent e a Princesa Josephine participaram na corrida One Mile, juntamente com mais de 35.000 pessoas. No final todos foram presenteados com medalhas.
Meanwhile in Copenhagen, his wife, the Crown Princess Mary and their four children, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine participated in the One Mile race along with more than 35,000 people. In the end everyone was presented with medals.

Em Aarhus, Frederik e cerca de 12.000 dinamarqueses correram mais uma milha.
In Aarhus, Frederik and about 12,000 Danes ran another mile.

 Em Esbjerg, Frederik contou com a companhia de 330 veteranos militares para mais uma corrida One Mile. Esta corrida foi muito especial para Frederik que é um grande apoiante dos serviços de defesa nacionais. Para esta corrida Frederik usou uma t-shirt  verde dos Seals da Marinha.
In Esbjerg, Frederik was joined by 330 military veterans for another One Mile race. This race was very special for Frederik who is a great supporter of the national defense services. For this race Frderik wore a green Navy Seals t-shirt.


Mais tarde Mary juntou-se a Frederik em Odense e a mais de 6.000 participantes..
Later Mary joined Frederik in Odense and more than 6.000 runners.

Frederik completou a sua quarta milha do dia, enquanto Mary correu 10 km. É isso miúda!!
Frederik completed his fourth mile of the day while Mary ran 10km. That's it Girl!!


De volta a Copenhaga, o dia acabou com uma corrida de 10km. Frederik levou 57 minutos a completar o seu percurso e à passagem por Amalienborg foi  saudado pela sua mãe, a Rainha que saiu à varanda do Palácio para acenar aos corredores.
Back in Copenhagen, the day ended with a 10km run. Frederik took 57 minutes to complete his race and the passage through Amalienborg he was greeted by his mother, the Queen,who went out to the  Palace's balcony to wave the runners.

Ontem o Príncipe Herdeiro Frederik ofereceu um recepção a bordo do Iate Real Danneborg para representantes dos seus patronatos.
Yesterday Crown Prince Frederik hosted a reception aboard the Royal Yacht Danneborg for representatives of his patronates.

 Mais eventos decorrem até Domingo com especial foco para o fim-de-semana onde são esperados vários convidados reais europeus para o Jantar de Gala oferecido pela Rainha em honra do 50º aniversário do seu filho mais velho.
More events take place until Sunday with a special focus on the weekend where several royal European guests are expected to attend the Gala Dinner hosted by the Queen in honor of her eldest son's 50th birthday.

No passado Domingo foi transmitido pela TV2 o documentário "Min vej" (A minha maneira) sobre o futuro Rei da Dinamarca. Num retrato intimista um grupo de jornalistas acompanhou durante um ano a vida do Príncipe da Coroa da Dinamarca. Neste documentário, que conta com imagens inéditas e testemunhos de familiares, tomamos consciência sobre um Príncipe que se coloca perante situações extremas para provar a si mesmo que nem tudo na sua vida é planeado de antemão, focando-se muitas vezes no trabalho físico árduo para mostrar que tudo aquilo que mostra é fruto de um trabalho duro. Last Sunday, the documentary "Min vej" (My way) about the future King of Denmark was broadcast on TV2. In an intimate portrait, a group of journalists accompanied the life of the Crown Prince of Denmark for a year. In this documentary, which features unpublished images and testimonies from family members, we become aware of a Prince who confronts extreme situations to prove to himself that not everything in his life is planned in advance, often focusing on hard physical work for show that everything he achieves is the result of hard work. His wife's own words.

A Casa Real divulgou um clip do documentário legendado em inglês, onde Frederik confessa que muito daquilo que é hoje o deve à sua esposa Mary que o completa de uma maneira maravilhosa!!
The Royal House has released a clip of the documentary with english subtitles, where Frederik confesses that much of what he is today owes to his wife Mary who completes it in a wonderful way!!



Á parte disso também vemos uma cena bastante familiar em que o casal com os seus quatro filhos fazem pipocas numa fogueira no campo. Se ao menos esta parte também tivesse legendada, todos seríamos unicórnios mais felizes.
Apart from this we also see a rather familiar scene in which the couple with their four children make popcorn at a campfire. If only this part had also been subtitled , we would all be happier unicorns.
