I aftes overrakte H.K.H. Kronprinsessen æresprisen ved Danish Rainbow Awards – AXGIL til interesseorganisationen LGBT Danmark - Landsforeningen for bøsser, lesbiske, biseksuelle og transpersoner. Hvert år hylder Rainbow Business Denmark de personer, organisationer og virksomheder, der er med til at skabe bedre livsvilkår for LGBT-personer eller som er med til at skabe liv og indhold i Danmarks LGBT-miljø.

No dia 25 de Abril de 2018 a Princesa da Coroa Mary da Dinamarca compareceu aos Prémios Danish Rainbow - AXGIL, onde entregou o Prémio Honorário. Todos os anos a Rainbow Business Denmark celebra as pessoas, organizações e companhias que contribuem para a melhoria das condições de vida da comunidade LGTB. Esta foi a primeira vez que um membro da família real dinamarquesa marcou presença na atribuição destes Prémios. A futura Rainha da Dinamarca foi recebida em palco com emoção e uma grande ovação de pé.

On April 25, 2018 Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended the Danish Rainbow Awards - AXGIL, where she presented the Honorary Prize. Every year, Rainbow Business Denmark celebrates the people, organizations and companies that contribute to improving the living conditions of the LGTB community. This was the first time that a member of the Danish royal family was present in the awarding of these prizes. The future Queen of Denmark was received on stage with excitement and a standing ovation.

Lindíssima num estilo boémio Mary preferiu algumas palavras que eu adoraria compreender, mas não encontrei qualquer tradução do seu discurso. O apoio de Mary aos direitos da comunidade LGBT não é novo. Em 2016 por ocasião do Dia Internacional da contra a Homofobia, Transfobia e Bifobia em Copenhaga, Mary referiu:  

Beautiful in a bohemian style Mary preferred some words that I would love to understand, but I did not find any translation of her speech. Mary's support for the rights of the LGBT community is not new. In 2016 on the occasion of the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia in Copenhagen, Mary said:

"Devemos permanecer unidos na rejeição de todas as formas de discriminação com base na orientação sexual ou identidade de género".
"We must remain united in rejecting all forms of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity."

Já este ano, durante o seu discurso na Assembleia Parlamentar do Conselho da Europa, a Princesa dinamarquesa referiu:

Earlier this year, during her address to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the Danish Princess said:

"Os direitos sexuais são alguns dos mais controversos, mas também alguns dos direitos humanos mais pessoais e fundamentais e são, portanto, o cerne da dignidade humana e do desenvolvimento da humanidade. Estão relacionados com o direito de tomar decisões informadas sobre os aspectos mais fundamentais das nossas vidas - o nosso corpo, sexualidade, saúde e relacionamentos. ”
"Sexual rights are some of the most controversial, but also some of the most personal and fundamental human rights and are therefore the core of human dignity and the development of humankind. They are related to the right to make informed decisions on the most fundamental aspects of our lives - our body, sexuality, health and relationships."

Em 2013 a Princesa da Coroa Victoria da Suécia  também se tornou o primeiro membro da família real sueca a apoiar publicamente a comunidade LGBT ao comparecer de surpresa à Gala QX para entregar o Prémio "Personalidade LGBT do Ano".

E a História também se faz de momentos destes!

In 2013 Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden also became the first member of the Swedish royal family to publicly support the LGBT community by attending by surprise to the Gala QX where she delivered the LGBT Personality of the Year Award.
