Depois de uma anúncio da noivado e com um baptizado real já na próxima sexta-feira (sim, na Suécia!!), é altura de nos recompormos por alguns momentos e espreitarmos o que está a acontecer fora Reino Unido.
E pode parecer que não, mas tivemos uma Visita de Estado esta semana! A convite do Governo Japonês o Grão-Duque Henri do Luxemburgo fez uma Visita de Estado de dois dias ao Império do Sol nascente acompanhado por uma comitiva luxemburguesa.

Ao seu lado, Henri contou com uma presença muito especial, a sua filha, a Princesa Alexandra que participou na sua primeira visita de Estado, substituindo a sua mãe, a Grã-Duquesa Maria Teresa, após o Grão-Ducado ter anunciado que a Grã-Duquesa não tinha ultrapassado a sua fobia em voar de avião.

Após a cerimónia oficial de boas-vindas no Palácio Imperial de Tóquio, na qual estiveram presentes vários membros da família imperial japonesa, o Grão-Duque e a Princesa Alexandra foram recebidos pelo Imperador e pela Imperatriz em audiência. Para os primeiros compromissos desta visita de estado Alexandra estava irrepreensível, muito elegante, sóbria e bonita, neste conjunto creme!

Mais tarde Pai e Filha participaram no seminário económico de negócios "Luxemburgo-Japão" no qual o Grão-Duque fez o discurso de abertura. O seminário teve o objectivo de divulgar as parecerias e relações económicas existentes entre os dois países e promover a cooperação empresarial bilateral em diferentes áreas de interesse.

Da parte da tarde, o Grão-Duque e a Princesa Alexandra visitaram a Universidade de Sophia, onde Henri foi distinguido com o grau de Doutor Honoris Causa. Alexandra escolheu uma saia bastante elegante azul que completou com uma blusa preta, resultando num look bastante sóbrio mas jovial ao mesmo tempo.
In the afternoon, the Grand Duke and Princess Alexandra visited the University of Sophia, where Henri was awarded with the Doctor Honoris Causa degree. Alexandra chose a pretty elegant blue skirt that completed with a black blouse, resulting in a look quite sober but jovial at the same time.
Á noite e colocando um ponto final no primeiro dia de visita, o Imperador e Imperatriz do Japão ofereceram um Banquete de Estado no Palácio Imperial de Tóquio em homenagem aos visitantes.

Em representação da Grã-Duquesa, a Princesa Alexandra, vestida com um vistoso vestido fuscia e bolero preto com bordados, trouxe-nos uma imponente tiara dos cofres luxemburgueses - a Tiara-Gargantilha de Diamantes e Pérolas. A completar um bonito colar (muito semelhante na minha opinião ao mais recente colar-tiara da Princesa da Coroa Mary da Dinamarca.).

No segundo dia de visita, o Grão-Duque e a Princesa Alexandra do Luxemburgo, acompanhados pelo Imperador e pela Imperatriz do Japão viajaram de comboio até Tsuchiura, onde foram recebidos pelas autoridades locais e onde puderam assistira a uma actuação musical em sua honra.
On the second day of the visit, the Grand Duke and Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg, accompanied by the Emperor and the Empress of Japan, traveled by train to Tsuchiura, where they were received by the local authorities and where they could have attended a musical performance in their honor.

Mais tarde, em Tsukuba, Henri e Aelxandra, acompanhados da delegação do Luxemburgo visitaram o Centro Espacial da Agência Japonesa de Exploração aeroespacial.
Later, in Tsukuba, Henri and Aelxandra, accompanied by the Luxembourg delegation, visited the Space Center of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency.

Alexandra deslumbrou num conjunto ameixa que segundo o blog Luxarazzi veio do closet da Grã-Duquesa Maria Teresa. Alexandra completou este conjunto com acessórios pretos e uns botins da mesma cor que o fato.
Alexandra dazzled in a plum set that according to the blog Luxarazzi came from the closet of Grand Duchess Maria Teresa. Alexandra completed this set with black accessories and some ankle boots of the same color as the suit.

De volta a Tóquio o segundo dia de visita acabou com um jantar oferecido pelo Primeiro-Ministro Shinzo Abe em honra do Grão-Duque. Alexandra usou um simples vestido preto que completou com uma jaqueta prata e um colar de pérolas. Elegante mas envelhecida.
Back in Tokyo the second day of the visit ended with a dinner hosted by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in honor of the Grand Duke. Alexandra wore a simple black dress that she completed with a silver jacket and a pearl necklace. Elegant but aged.

Hoje, no último dia da Visita de Estado o Grão-Duque participou numa Conferência Espacial Luxemburgo-Japão dedicada a novas oportunidades e desafios no Espaço.
Today, on the last day of the State Visit, the Grand Duke participated in a Luxembourg-Japan Space Conference dedicated to new opportunities and challenges in Space.

How lovely to see Princess Alexandra. But why does she have to borrow clothes from here mum?? IMO that is a big NO! That bolero she was wearing at the banquet, also belongs to her mum.
