#PremiosPrincesaDeAsturias2017 / #PrincessOfAsturiasAwards2017
Estes três últimos meses do ano são ricos em eventos anuais que adoro trazer a este espaço. Não apenas pela oportunidade de falar sobre algumas das nossas caras reais mais queridas, como também para reconhecer o trabalho extraordinário que se faz por este mundo nas mais diversas áreas.
Um destes eventos decorre em Espanha, mais concretamente em Oviedo - Os Prémios Princesa das Astúrias.
These last three months of the year are rich in annual events that I love bringing to this space. Not only for the opportunity to talk about some of our dearest royal faces, but also to recognize the extraordinary work done all over the world in the most diverse areas.
One of these events takes place in Spain, more concretely in Oviedo - The Princess of Asturias Awards.

Como é hábito, na véspera da cerimónia de entrega dos prestigiados galardões, tem lugar o Concerto Prémios Princesa das Astúrias, presidido pelo Rei Felipe e pela Rainha Letizia de Espanha. De seguida os Reis ofereceram uma recepção em honra da Fundação Princesa das Astúrias, na qual estiverem presentes os membros da Fundação e seus patronos bem como os galardoados com os Prémios Princesa das Astúrias 2017.
As usual, on the eve of the prestigious awards ceremony, takes place the Princess of Asturias Awards Concert presided over by King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain. Then the Kinga and Queen offered a reception in honor of the Foundation Princess of Asturias, in which are present the members of the Foundation and its patrons as well as the winners with the Princess of Asturias Awards 2017.

Quebrando uma tradição com alguns anos, Letizia não usou preto para o concerto. E não encontro palavras que exprimam a minha gratidão por tal facto. A Rainha espanhola apostou num vestido azul (a cor do Principado das Astúrias) de comprimento médio (adoro!), com cintura descaída e botões nas costas.
Breaking a tradition with a few years, Letizia did not use black for the concert. And I find no words that express my gratitude for that fact. The Spanish Queen dazzled on a blue dress (the color of the Principality of Asturias) of medium length (I love it!), With a slim waist and buttons on the back.

Como complementos, Letizia usou uns brincos de águas-marinhas, as pulseiras de diamantes Gemelas que fazem parte das joyas de pasar da coroa espanhola e num gesto super inovador para Leti, a Consorte espanhola usou um anel! É a loucura!
As accessories, Letizia wore aquamarine earrings, the Gemelas diamond bracelets that are part of the joyas de pasar from the Spanish crown and in a super innovative gesture for Leti, the Spanish Consort wore a ring! Wild Letizia!
Quando vi as primeiras fotografias dessa noite e, após respirar de alívio pela não existência de mais uma vestido de cocktail preto no closet real espanhol, reparei que Letizia tem os braços muito mais tonificados, o que favorece bastante o uso de um vestido sem alças. Adorei o seu penteado simples, mas elegante e não me canso de louvar o/a responsável pela maquilhagem da Rainha espanhola. Sem dúvida que Leti é a Rainha que melhor partido tira da maquilhagem que está sempre impecável.
When I saw the first photographs, and after breathing in relief at the absence of another black cocktail dress in the Spanish royal closet, I noticed that Letizia has a much more toned arms, which greatly favors the use of a strapless dress. I loved her simple but elegant hairstyle and I can not praise enough the person responsible for the Spanish Queen's make-up. Undoubtedly Leti is the Queen who has the best make-up artist that is always impeccable.

Os Prémios Princesa de Astúrias são a principal actividade desenvolvida pela Fundação Princesa de Astúrias, uma instituição privada, sem fins lucrativos, cujos objectivos passam pela exaltação e promoção dos valores científicos, culturais e humanísticos, enquanto património universal, bem como consolidação dos vínculos existentes entre o Principado das Astúrias e o título que tradicionalmente os herdeiros da coroa espanhola possuem. Depois da proclamação do Rei Felipe VI, a sua filha mais velha, Dona Leonor de Borbón y Ortiz, Princesa de Astúrias, ostenta a Presidência de Honra da instituição que promove anualmente os Prémios. Estes galardões são concedidos desde 1981, após a constituição, no dia 24 de setembro de 1980, da Fundação Príncipe de Astúrias em Oviedo (Principado de Astúrias–Espanha) numa cerimónia presidida, naquela altura, pelo Príncipe de Astúrias e Herdeiro da Coroa de Espanha acompanhado pelos pais, o Rei Dom Juan Carlos e a Rainha Dona Sofía.
The following day the awards ceremony was held. The Princess of Asturias Awards are the main activity developed by the Foundation Princess of Asturias, a private, non-profit institution, whose objectives are the exaltation and promotion of scientific, cultural and humanistic values as universal heritage as well as to consolidate the links between the Principality of Asturias and the title that traditionally the heirs of the Spanish crown have. After the proclamation of King Felipe VI, his eldest daughter, Dona Leonor de Borbón y Ortiz, Princess of Asturias, holds the Presidency of Honor of the institution that annually promotes these Awards. These awards have been awarded since 1981 after the formation of the Prince of Asturias Foundation in Oviedo (Principality of Asturias-Spain) on September 24, 1980, at a ceremony presided over at that time by the Prince of Asturias and Heir to the Spanish Crown accompanied by his parents, King Dom Juan Carlos and Queen Dona Sofía.
O dia da entrega dos Prémios ficou marcado por vários eventos no período da manhã. Como é hábito Felipe e Letizia ofereceram uma recepção aos vencedores da edição deste ano dos Prémios, e também receberam em audiência os vencedores das Medalhas Astúrias 2017 e os vencedores dos Prémios Fim de Carreira 2016 da Universidade de Oviedo.
The Awards' day was marked by several events in the morning. As usual Felipe and Letizia hosted a reception for the winners of this year's Awards, and received in audience the winners of Asturias Meddals 2017 and the winners of the University of Oviedo Career Award 2016.
O casal real também recebeu os presidentes e jurados dos Prémios Princesa das Astúrias, membros da Fundação Princesa das Astúrias e representantes dos patronatos da Fundação. O rei e a rainha tiveram também a oportunidade de receber os vencedores deste ano e distingui-los com a insígnia da Fundação.
The royal couple also received the presidents and judges of the Princess of Asturias Awards, members of the Foundation Princess of Asturias and representatives of the patronates of the Foundation. The king and queen also had the opportunity to receive this year's winners and to distinguish them with the insignia of the Foundation.
A Rainha espanhola escolheu um vestido floral para esta ocasião. O vestido é bonito, mas confesso que estou um pouco farta de momento, deste tipo de modelos em Leti. Já sabemos que a Rainha espanhola gosta de flores, principalmente se forem Carolina Herrera, mas haverá a possibilidade desta opção se tornar o novo "vestido preto Varela" de Letizia de Espanha? Receio bem que sim...
The Spanish Queen chose a floral dress for this occasion. The dress is beautiful, but I confess I'm a little tired, at the moment, of this kind of models in Leti. We already know that the Spanish Queen likes florals, especially if they are Carolina Herrera, but is it possible his option to become the new "Varela black dress" from Letizia of Spain? I'm affraid it is.

Após a entrada no interior do Teatro, Felipe e Letizia percorreram o caminho central pela audiência até à mesa presidencial no palco, enquanto que a Rainha Sofia assistiu como é hábito à cerimónia na Tribuna Real.
Upon entry into the theater, Felipe and Letizia toured the central path among the audience to the presidential table on the stage, while Queen Sofia watched, as usual, the ceremony at the Royal Tribune.

Após o Hino Nacional espanhol ser tocado pelo Grupo de Gaitas "Ciudad de Oviedo", o Rei declarou aberto a Cerimónia de Entrega dos Prémios Princesa de Astúrias 2017.
After the Spanish national anthem being played by the Group of Bagpipes "Ciudad de Oviedo", the King declared open the Ceremony for the Princess of Asturias Awards 2017.
Os prestigiados prémios distinguem individualidades ou colectivos nas seguintes áreas: Ciências Sociais, Concórdia, Investigação Cientifica e Técnica, Artes, Comunicação e Humanidades, Desporto, Letras e Cooperação Internacional. Poderão consultar os vencedores deste ano aqui.

Confesso-vos uma coisa: dados os recentes acontecimentos na Catalunha e o clima político que se vive, e perante a atribuição do Prémio Princesa das Astúrias da Concórdia à União Europeia, temi que o nome e prestigio destes Prémios ficassem manchados. Nitidamente Felipe, o Governo Espanhol e os mais altos organismos europeus estavam a mandar uma mensagem bastante directa ao Governo Autónomo da Catalunha. Mensagem essa que ficou bastante clara nos seus discursos. E por isso, este ano, estes Prémios tiverem uma clara mensagem política associada e eu fiquei com dúvidas se seria o local ideal para essa mensagem ser divulgada.
I confess to you one thing: given the recent events in Catalonia and the political climate that we are experiencing, when the Princess of Asturias Award for Concord was given to the European Union, I feared that the name and prestige of these Prizes would be demaged. Clearly Felipe, the Spanish Government and the highest European bodies were sending a very direct message to the Autonomous Government of Catalonia. This message was very clear in their speeches. And so, this year, these Awards had a clear associated political message and I wondered if it would be the ideal place for that message to be released.
"(...) Os nossos prémios inspiram esperança; mostram-nos o profundo significado da liberdade criativa, do amor ao conhecimento, da arte e da cultura, da solidariedade e da justiça; e testemunhar a importância do esforço, perseverar no caminho certo para completar as valiosas obras, que duram e valem a pena. Because it is in the worst moments, in the most difficult moments, that we often evoke everything that is positive and good; everything that, being intrinsic and deeply human, makes us better and makes us more just, more honest and more confident. I speak of art, literature, science, culture, thought, I speak of solidarity and concord.
Mas, se pensarmos bem, estes prémios prestigiam precisamente aqueles que usaram os seus talentos para passar uma mensagem clara, livre e inequívoca ao mundo. E talvez por isso mesmo, os Prémios Princesa das Astúrias, tenham sido o palco perfeito, para Felipe VI dizer, de uma forma humana e tão sua, aquilo que lhe faltou dizer na sua intervenção sobre o último Referendo de 1 de Outubro, não esquecendo as vítimas dos últimos incêndios de Espanha e Portugal. Nunca escondi o quanto adoro os discursos de Felipe. As suas palavras da passada sexta-feira reafirmaram a minha admiração:
But, if we think about it, these prizes honored precisely those who used their talents to deliver a clear, free and unequivocal message to the world. And perhaps for this very reason, the Princess of Asturias Awards were the perfect stage for Felipe VI to say, in a human way and so his own, what he lacked to say in his speech on the last referendum of October 1, not forgetting the victims of the last fires of Spain and Portugal. I never hid how much I love Felipe's speeches. His words last Friday reaffirmed my admiration:
"(...) A Espanha enfrenta uma tentativa inaceitável de separação de uma parte do seu território nacional, e irá resolver está situação através de suas legítimas instituições democráticas, respeitando a nossa Constituição e respeitando os valores e princípios da democracia parlamentar em que vivemos há 39 anos. Durante as últimas décadas, os espanhóis continuaram a nossa história, honrando a nossa decisão soberana de viver juntos em democracia. Nós vivemos e compartilhámos sucessos e fracassos, triunfos e sacrifícios, que nos uniram na alegria e no sofrimentos. Não podemos esquecê-lo. Citizens who want to live together and progress in peace and who daily show us an exemple of sacrifice, dutie and commitment to your country. "
Este é o discurso típico de Felipe que tanta me falta me fazia. Espera-se que nos próximos dias o Artigo 155 da constituição espanhola seja aplicado e o Parlamento Catalão seja dissolvido. Vamos ver o que acontece depois disso.
This is the typical speech of Felipe that I miss so much. It is hoped that on the next days the Article 155 of the Spanish constitution will be applied and the Catalan Parliament will be dissolved. Let's see what happens after that.

No que diz respeito ao look da Rainha espanhola, Leti escolheu um vestido Felipe Varela, como é hábito. O vestito preto e branco de inspiração vintage destacava-se pela fluidez das linhas e belos bordados (embora não perceba os motivos circulares nos bordados).
Regarding the look of the Spanish Queen, Leti wore a dress by Felipe Varela, as usual. The vintage-inspired black-and-white dress was highlighted by the flowing lines and beautiful embroidery (although I didn't understand thee circular motifs in the embroidery).

Não fiquei fã do decote, mas adorei a saia rodada. Embora de alguns ângulos o penteado não favorecesse Leti, eu gostei!

I was not a fan of the neckline, but I loved the full skirt. Although from some angles the hairstyle did not favor Leti, I liked it!
