Desde que subiram ao trono Philippe e Mathilde da Bélgica têm aproveitado o Verão para darem a conhecer o que de melhor a Bélgica tem para oferecer no que toca a ofertas turísticas e didácticas para as famílias em período de descanso e diversão. Daqui têm saído todos os anos fotografias que marcam o início do Verão para a família real belga.
Since their accession to the throne Philippe and Mathilde of Belgium have taken advantage of the summer to make known what Belgium has to offer in terms of tourist and educational offerings for families in a period of rest and fun. Every year, pictures have been published that mark the beginning of summer for the Belgian royal family.
No passado Sábado o Rei e a Rainha da Bélgica, acompanhados pelos seus quatro filhos rumaram à costa belga, onde visitaram o navio-escola Mercator, em Ostend. Este navio tem cumprido várias missões científicas e representando a Bélgica em várias competições de vela.
In the past Saturday the King and Queen of Belgium, accompanied by their four children traveled to the Belgian coast, where they visited Mercator school ship in Ostend. This ship has fulfilled several scientific missions and representing Belgium in several sailing competitions.
Após a visita a família participou num exercício de salvamento, onde reuniu com 20 equipas de resgate e alguns estudantes que trabalham como responsáveis pela manutenção da segurança da costa belga durante o Verão em Westende.
After the visit the family participated in a rescue exercise, where they met with 20 rescue teams and some students working as responsible for maintaining the safety of the Belgian coast during the summer in Westende.
Adoro os programas em família que Philippe e Mathilde desenvolvem com os filhos. Programas que englobam sempre uma vertente cultural, mas onde a diversão e o sentido prático não estão esquecidos. Além disso, Philippe e Mathilde, conseguem deste modo que os seus filhos tenham contacto, desde cedo, com vários profissionais de outras áreas que partilham com eles histórias de (outras) vidas reais.
I love this family activities that Philippe and Mathilde develop with their children. Programs that always include a cultural aspect, but where fun and practicality are not forgotten. In addition, Philippe and Mathilde are able to get their children in contact, early, with various professionals from other areas who share stories of (other) real lives with them.
Elisabeth, Gabriel, Emmanuel e Éleonore agradecerão certamente no futuro!
