Um dos grandes eventos de 2017 conta ser a celebração conjunta do 80º aniversário do Rei Harald V e da Rainha Sonja da Noruega. As celebrações começam amanhã e vão durar dois dias.

One of the great events of 2017 is the joint celebration of the 80th anniversary of King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway. The celebrations begin tomorrow and will last two days.

Hoje olhamos para Janeiro de 2007 e para as fotografias oficias que marcaram o 70º aniversário do Rei Harald. Um evento que contou com a presença de vários membros da realeza europeia e mundial, entre amigos e familiares do aniversariante.

Mas a fotografia mais nostálgica na minha opinião é esta. Os na altura herdeiros e herdeiras das monarquias europeias. Há coisas peculiares nesta fotografia. Tanto Maxima como Mary estão grávidas de duas meninas. Ariane e Isabella nasceriam em Abril. Victoria, já namorava com Daniel, mas na altura ainda era a única herdeira europeia sem par oficial. Hoje dois destes casais já são Reis.

But the most nostalgic photograph in my opinion is this. Those at the time heirs and heiresses of the European monarchies. There are quirky things in this picture. Both Maxima and Mary are pregnant with two girls. Ariane and Isabella would be born in April. Victoria, was already dating Daniel, but at the time she was still the only European heiress with no official pair. Today, towh of these couples are already King and Queen.
