Na Sexta-feira passada a membros da família real sueca vestiram-se de gala desde Estocolmo até Nova York.

Last Friday the members of the Swedish royal family dressed in gala from Stockholm to New Yor city..

O Rei Carl Gustaf, a Rainha Sílvia, a Princesa da Coroa Victoria, o Príncipe Daniel, o Príncipe Carl Philip e a Princesa Sofia marcaram presença no Jantar da Suécia ( Sverigemiddagen) no Palácio Real em Estocolmo.
King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia attended the Dinner of Sweden (Sverigemiddagen) at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.



Este Jantar é um evento anual desde 2013 e visa reunir várias personalidades das áreas da cultura, negócios, desporto e associações dos 21 condados da Suécia. Trata-se de uma forma da família real reconhecer as pessoas que deram um importante contributo à Suécia a nível local, regional ou nacional.
This dinner is an annual event since 2013, and aims to bring together various personalities from the fields of culture, business, sport and associations of the 21 counties of Sweden. This is how the royal family recognize people who have made an important contribution to Sweden at local, regional or national level.



Este ano a família real recebeu cerca de 180 convidados para um jantar servido do Salão Vita Havet (Mar Branco).
This year the royal family received about 180 guests for a dinner served at the Vita Havet (White Sea) Hall.

Se nos anos passados, o dresscode foi um pouco controverso, este ano não houve dúvidas: vestidos longos e cores sóbrias para todas as damas reais. E repetições.

Victoria deslumbrou num vestido azul escuro com transparências que chegou a usar quando estava grávida de Estelle.

Sofia voltou a usar um vestido controverso Kay Senchai que usou quando ainda estava noiva de Carl Philip. Uma pena, porque o penteado estava lindo, mas o mesmo não se pode dizer do vestido.
Sofia wore a controversial dress by Kay Senchai, the she previously wore when he was engaged to Carl Philip. A pity, because the hairstyle was beautiful, but the same can not be said about the dress.

Ausente deste evento esteve a Princesa Madeleine que tinha um evento do outro lado do Atlântico.

Prinsessan Madeleine befinner sig i New York för att delta vid ett högnivåmöte på temat "Solutions to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals for Children". Under mötet diskuteras barns rättigheter samt vikten av att vuxna agerar för att skydda barn mot sexuella övergrepp. Mötet äger rum på FN och medverkar gör bland andra Jeffrey Sachs, Forest Whitaker och Andrea Bocelli. Princess Madeleine is in New York to participate in a high level meeting with the theme "Solutions to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals for Children." During the meeting children's rights and the importance that adults act to protect children from sexual abuse where discussed. No período da manhã, Madeleine participou no Painel de Discussão das Nações Unidas sobre o tema "Soluções para atingir os Objectivos de um Desenvolvimento Sustentável para as Crianças". Durante esta reunião foram discutidos os direitos das crianças e a importância da acção dos adultos para proteger as crianças da violência e abuso sexual. Depois disso a Princesa sueca marcou presença durante a noite na segunda edição da Thank You Gala organizada pela World Childood Foundation.
During the morning Madeleine attended a United Nations Panel Discussion with the theme "Solutions to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals for Children." During the meeting children's rights and the importance that adults act to protect children from sexual abuse where discussed.  Then the swedish Princess attended overnight at the second edition of Thank You Gala organized by the World Childood Foundation.



Esta fundação, como já referi várias vezes foi criada em 1999 pela Rainha Sílvia da Suécia para proteger e abordar assuntos que envolvem as crianças mais vulneráveis.
This foundation, as I have mentioned several times was established in 1999 by Queen Silvia of Sweden to protect and address issues that involve the most vulnerable children.



A Princesa Madeleine trabalha activamente com esta fundação e foi co-fundadora da campanha Thank You.
Princess Madeleine is actively working with this foundation and she is co-founder of the Thank You campaign.


Nesta noite de gala, Madeleine escolheu um vestido Jenny Packham e estava deslumbrante e muito feliz. É notório o compromisso e a satisfação que Madeleine sente ao dar a cara e voz pela Childhood.
For this evening gala, Madeleine chose a Jenny Packham gown and looked stunning and very happy. It is clear the commitment and satisfaction that Madeleine feels as she loans her face and voice to Childhood.
