Olá a todos. Voltei numa altura em que imensas coisas aconteceram no fim -de-semana e vou dedicar-me a elas no seu devido tempo.
Apenas quero comentar uma pequena porção do grande acontecimento real do momento: a visita oficial dos Cambridges ao Canadá.
Hello everyone. I came back at a time when many things happened during the weekend and I will dedicate myself to them in due time.
I just want to comment on a small portion of the great royal event taking plance right now: the official visit of the Cambridges to Canada.
O Duque e a Duquesa de Cambridge, acompanhados pelos sues dois filhos o Príncipe George e a Princesa Charlotte, aterraram em Victoria, Canadá, no Sábado passado. As crianças estão super crescidas e adoráveis.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, accompanied by their two children Prince George and Princess Charlotte, landed in Victoria, Canada, last Saturday. The children are very grown up and too much cute!
E eu apenas quero dizer que este look é um dos meus favoritos de sempre da Duquesa.
And I just want to say that this look is one of my favorite ever for the Duchess.
Este vestido Jenny Packham é muito semelhante em forma e detalhes a um dos meus looks favoritos usados também no Canadá em 2011. Além de evitar situações constrangedoras em aeroportos, é sofisticado, sem ser aborrecido.
This dress from Jenny Packham is very similar in form and details to one of my favorite looks also used in Canada in 2011. In addition to avoiding embarrassing situations at airports, is sophisticated without being boring.
Sempre disse que Catherine tinha cabeça para chapéu, e é óptimo ver que os seus looks com este acessório tão british estão a ser altamente beneficiados quando ela decide usar o seu cabelo apanhado.
I allways said that Catherine had a perfect head for hat-style, and it's great to see that her looks with this accessory so british are being highly benefited when she decides to use an updo.
A Duquesa usou a diplomacia mais uma vez na hora de vestir. Não esperava ver este broche de novo nesta visita, mas ele lá estava, emprestado pela Rainha. A Duquesa usou também uns brincos com tanzanitas e diamantes.
The Duchess used diplomacy again in time to dress up. I did not expect to see this brooch on this visit again, but there it was, lent by the Queen. The Duchess also wore some earrings with tanzanite and diamonds.
Amei que os sapatos não fossem azuis. Porque, confessamos, seria altamente provável que fossem!
I loved the shoes were not blue. Because let's confess, it wouldn't be a surprise if they were!
Após a recepção no aeroporto, no primeiro dia de visita, o Duque e a Duquesa de Cambridge dirigiram-se ao Parlamento da British Columbia para a Cerimónia Oficial de boas-vindas.
After the reception at the airport, on the first day of visit, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went to the British Columbia Legislature for the Official Welcome Ceremony.
O Duque e a Duquesa depositaram uma coroa de flores em homenagem aos canadianos que perderam a vida em combate. Segui-se um minuto de silêncio.
The Duke and Duchess laid a wreath in honor of the Canadians who lost their lives in combat. This was followed by a minute of silence.
William e Catherine reuniram depois com o Governador Geral do Canadá David Johnson e com a sua esposa Sharon Johnson.
William and Catherine met later with the Governor General of Canada David Johnson and his wife Sharon Johnson.
O casal real também teve uma reunião com o Primeiro-Ministro Justin Trudeau e com a esposa Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.
