Duquesa de Cambridge visitará a Holanda em Outubro / The Duchess of Cambridge will visit the Netherlands in October

Foi anunciado hoje pelo Palácio de Kensington que a Duquesa de Cambridge vai visitar Haia e Roterdão, na Holanda a 11 de Outubro.

It was announced today by Kensington Palace that the Duchess of Cambridge will visit The Hague and Rotterdam in the Netherlands on 11 October.

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge will visit the Netherlands on 11th October for a day of official engagements in The Hague and Rotterdam. On arrival, The Duchess of Cambridge is pleased to have the opportunity to pay a courtesy call on His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands at Villa Eikenhorst. The Duchess will then visit the Mauritshuis in The Hague for the exhibition 'At Home in Holland: Vermeer and his Contemporaries from the @royal_collection_trust’. HRH will host a roundtable discussion at the renowned Trimbos Institute on addiction, intervention, family and mental health with two UK charities of which The Duchess is Patron, Anna Freud Centre for Children and Families and Action on Addiction. Her Royal Highness will then travel to the neighbouring city of Rotterdam to see Bouwkeet, the social Makerspace of Bospolder-Tussendijken. This is a new community focussed initiative in the centre of an economically deprived district which provides a creative design and technology workspace. The Duchess of Cambridge is very much looking forward to her visit to the Netherlands.

Será o primeiro compromisso a solo no estrangeiro para a Duquesa desde o seu casamento em 2011.

Nesse dia Catherine irá almoçar com o Rei Willem-Alexander na residência oficial dos Reis Holandeses. A presença da Rainha Máxima não está prevista na agenda oficial da Casa Real Holandesa.

A visita oficial inclui áreas de interesse da Duquesa como as Artes, a saúde mental e o combate à adição. 

It will be the first solo engagement abroad for the Duchess since her marriage in 2011.

On that day Catherine will have lunch with King Willem-Alexander King at the official residence of the Dutch Royal Couple. Queen Maxima's presence is not confirmed on the official agenda of the Dutch Royal House.

The official visit includes areas of interest for the Duchess such as Arts, Mental health and combating Addiction.

Confesso que estou entusiasmada com esta visita. É bom ver as nossas meninas a crescerem nos seus papéis e este é sem dúvida um grande marco para a Kate. E estou desejosa de vê-la em mais actos a solo.
I confess I am excited about this visit. It's good to see our girls grow in their roles and this is certainly an huge milestone for Kate. And I'm anxious to see her in many more solo acts.
