Além de ser bastante activa nas redes sociais, o que facilita bastante o conhecimento sobre as suas actividades, é alguém que estou a admirar bastante. Tanto como Princesa, mas acima de tudo como pessoa.

There is a princess who I think someone should seriously start thinking to create a blog about her. Anyone interested? Besides being very active on social networks, which greatly facilitates the understanding of her activities, it is someone who I'm starting to admire a lot. Estou a falar da Princesa Tessy do Luxemburgo. Recentemente Tessy partilhou no seu Instagram uma acção que envolveu o seu filho mais novo, Noah. O pequeno que recentemente fez a sua primeira comunhão resolveu doar o dinheiro que recebeu para um Abrigo de Refugiados no Luxemburgo.

I'm talking about Princess Tessy of Luxembourg. Tessy recently shared on her Instagram an action involving her youngest son, Noah. The boy, aged 8, recently made his first communion and decided to donate the money he received for a Refugee Shelter in Luxembourg.

O dinheiro será usado para reparar paredes e adaptar a sala de brincar do abrigo em Marienthal. Depois da doação Noah e o seu irmão Gabriel jogaram futebol com as crianças que estão no abrigo.

The money will be used to repair walls and to adapt a playroom in the refugee shalter in the Marienthal.  After Noah's donation, he and his brother Gabriel played soccer with children who live in the shelter.

As a parent I could not be more proud of my sons! Noah donated his communion money to the refugee shelter in the 'Marienthal' in Luxembourg so that they can repaint the walls and adapt the playroom for the children. De tudo os que os pais podem fazer pelos seus filhos, uma das coisas que a meu ver é mais preciosa é ensinar-lhes o amor pelo próximo. Ensinar-lhes o que é ser generoso, é confrontá-los com outras realidades e fazer que eles se sintam gratos e afortunados pelas bênçãos que têm.

From all things any parents can do for their children, one of the things I think is most precious is to teach them the love the person next to them. Teach them how to be generous, facing them with other realities and make them feel grateful and lucky for the blessings they have.

Obviamente que a Realeza é privilegiada. Mas quando se colocam esses privilégios ou serviço dos outros, penso que o equilíbrio pode ser atingido. E o mais interessante é que, se olharmos bem, todos nós somos SEMPRE privilegiados em comparação com outras realidades. E por isso tenho fantásticas noticias para vós: TODOS podemos fazer a diferença!

Obviously Royals are privileged. But when you put these privileges or service of others, I think that the balance can be achieved. And most interesting is that if we pay attention, we are all privileged ALWAYS compared to other realities. And so I have fantastic news for you: We ALL can make a difference!
