Tiaras+Princesas Grávidas = Suécia / Tiaras+Pregnant Princesses= Sweden

Ora bem...O que nos anima mais, a nós royal watchers, a meio de uma semana do que um jantar de gala na Suécia com a presença de duas princesas grávidas e tiaras??? Pensei, pensei, e...de facto não há muitas mais!
Well ... What cheer us more, to us royal watchers, in the middle of a week than a gala dinner in Sweden with the presence of two pregnant princesses and tiaras ??? I thought, thought, and ... in fact there are not many more!

O Rei Carl Gustav e a Rainha Sílvia foram os anfitriões do primeiro jantar oficial do ano para representantes suecos do Corpo Diplomático, parlamento, governo, ciências, desporto, negócios, cultura e pessoas que a família real conhece durante as suas viagens oficiais.
King Carl Gustav and Queen Silvia hosted the first official dinner of the year for Swedish representatives of the diplomatic corps, parliament, government, science, sport, business, culture and people that the royal family known for their official travel.

Os tons da amarelo foram escolhidos para os arranjos florais das mesas de jantar que foi servido na Sala Karl XI. Adoro Túlipas!!
The shades of yellow were chosen for the floral arrangements for the dining tables which was served in the Karl XI Hall. Tulips = love !!

Mas não estamos aqui (só) para falar de flores. Passemos para outras flores: as damas reais.
But we're not here (only) to speak of flowers. Let us move to other flowers: the royal ladies.

Sílvia optou por uma das suas cores favoritas para vestido de gala: o vermelho. Confesso que tenho uma relação de amor/ódio com esta cor. No caso de Sílvia acho que é muito vermelho junto. Talvez sem o xaile, gostasse mais. A Tiara Connaught fez mais uma aparição ( e eu ainda não consigo achar-lhe piada...).
Silvia chose one of her favorite colors for evening dress: red. I confess that I have a love / hate relationship with this color. In Silvia's case I think it's too much red together. Perhaps without the shawl, I would like it better. The Connaught tiara made one more appearance (And I'm still not on board with it...).

I början av mars säger hovet. I mitten av februari spekuleras det om. När en bebis kommer är ju faktiskt en de få saker vi inte kan bestämma. Na recta final da gravidez (#BabyWatch) a Princesa da Coroa Victoria escolheu um modelo já anteriormente usado na gravidez de Estelle, para o jantar do Rei aos vencedores dos Prémios Nobel em 2011. O vestido de corte império fica fantástico ao movimento. Se adicionarmos o brilho da Tiara Baden Fringe, Victoria toda ela brilhava...

Mas se vamos falar de brilho, olhemos então para Sofia. A dois meses de ser mãe pela primeira vez, a esposa do Príncipe Carl-Philip escolheu um vestido dourado (segundo parece emprestado da sua melhor amiga Olivia Rehn) de mangas curtas e decote quadrado. Sofia, de rosto resplandecente nesta gravidez, optou pela sua Tiara de casamento. Ai, eu acho que a Tiara Napoleónica teria sido perfeita para este vestido....
But if we talk about sparkle, then let's look to Sofia. Two months away of being a mother for the first time, the wife of Prince Carl-Philip chose a golden dress (apparently borrowed from her best friend Olivia Rehn) with short sleeves and square neckline. Sofia, with a shining face in this pregnancy, opted for her wedding tiara. Oh, I think the Napoleonic Tiara would have been perfect for this dress...

E agora falemos a sério: 1) Se Sofia não usa uma tiara diferente, é porque provavelmente essa é a sua opção, visto que está a usar outras jóias do cofre real; 2) Por favor, parem de comparar tamanhos de barrigas: Victoria sempre fez barrigas grandes e está grávida há mais tempo que Sofia, logo....; 3) Ainda acreditam que pelo tamanho e forma da barriga se consegue prever o sexo da criança??
And now let's talk seriously: 1) If Sofia does not use a different tiara, it's probably because it's her option not to do so, since she is using other jewelry from the royal vault; 2) Please stop comparing baby bumps: Victoria did a huge bump before and she is pregnant longer than Sofia, so ....; 3)  Do you still believe that the size and shape of the belly can predict the sex of the child ??
