E a grande noite chegou. Copenhaga recebeu hoje várias cabeças coroadas que vieram celebrar os 75 anos da Rainha Magrethe II.
And the big night arrived. Copenhagen received today several crowned heads who came to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Queen Magrethe II.

A Rainha da Dinamarca não pôde no entanto contar com a presença do seu marido. O Príncipe Henrik adoeceu com gripe e a sua presença nas celebrações foi cancelada.
The Queen of Denmark couldn't count however with the presence of her husband. Prince Henrik fell ill with flu and his presence in the celebrations was canceled.

Como Daisy referiu na conferência de imprensa dada na passada segunda-feira, o seu desejo para o seu aniversário era passá-lo na companhia de familiares e amigos.
As Daisy said at the press conference held last Monday, her desire for her birthday was to pass it in the company of her  family and friends.

Ela não tem culpa que dentro desse leque se encontrem vários membros da realeza europeia.
It´s not her fault that within this range are several members of the European royalty.
Christianborg Palace
Assim o Palácio de Christianborg recebeu os vários convidados reais em todo o seu esplendor para um Jantar de Gala.
So  Christianborg Palace received several royal guests in all its splendor for a Gala Dinner.


Como manda a etiqueta a Rainha foi a última a chegar.
As required by the protocol, the Queen was the last to arrive.

A rainha optou por um novo vestido vermelho, com aplicações de renda e transparências. Um look mais discreto do que eu esperava. Mas que deu um toque de cor à noite e que fez de Daisy a verdadeira estrela da noite.
The Queen opted for a new red dress with lace and transparencies applications. A more discreet look than I expected. But that gave a touch of color  and that made Daisy the true star of the night.


A Rainha optou por um diadema favorito.  A Floral Aigrette Tiara é sempre uma forte aposta de Daisy. A completar um colar de pérolas e brincos e broche de rubis da Colecção da Coroa.

The Queen chose a favorite diadem. The Floral Aigrette Tiara is always a strong possibility for Daisy. Completing a pearl necklace and diamond and ruby earrings and brooch from the Crown Collection.

Ainda se especulou que, dada a ausência de Henrik, Frederik acompanhasse a mãe à chegada. Tal não aconteceu e o casal herdeiro chegou junto.
Although it was speculated that, given the absence of Henrik, Frederik might accompany his mother on the arrival. This did not happen and the Crown Princely Couple arrived together.

Confesso que esperava outra coisa de Mary. A princesa da Coroa escolheu um vestido lindo de Birgit Hallstein já usado em 2013 no Jantar de despedida da Rainha Beatrix da Holanda. Lindo de facto, mas que desta vez não combinou com as jóias. Mas mais uma vez Mary sabe como fazer um penteado de gala.  Frederik usou o seu uniforme militar.
I confess that I expected anything else from Mary. The Crown Princess chose a beautiful dress by Birgit Hallstein already used in 2013 in the Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands Farewell dinner. Beautiful indeed, but this time did not match with the jewels. But once again Mary knows how to make a gala hairstyle. Frederik used his military uniform.

Sem surpresas a Princesa da Coroa optou pelo Queen Desirée Ruby Parure. Mary usou os brincos na sua forma mais simples com um pendente e uma pulseira. A princesa usou além da tiara uns clips do conjunto no cabelo.

Unsurprisingly the Crown Princess opted for Queen Desirée Ruby Parure. She also wore the earrings in the simple version with a pendant and the bracelet. Besides the tiara, the Princess wore hair clips from the parure on the back of her hair.

Príncipe Joachim, segundo filho da Rainha da Dinamarca, acompanhado da sua esposa, a Princesa Marie.
Prince Joachim, the second son of the Danish Queen, accompanied by his wife, Princess Marie.

Marie escolheu um novo vestido azul escuro com efeito peplum e aplicações de renda, naquele que parece ser um modelo de vestido preferido ultimamente Marie e que muito a favorece. Simples e elegante. Gostei, mas não adorei. Joachim usou o seu uniforme militar
Marie has chosen a new dark blue dress with peplum effect and lace details, in what seems to be a favorite dress style lately for Marie and that favors her a lot. Simple and elegant. Liked but not loved. Joachim wore his militar uniform.


Também sem surpresas Marie escolheu a sua Princess Dagmar Floral Tiara, uns brincos discretos e o mesmo pendente que usou a semana passada em Aarhus, desta vez como colar.

Also unsurprisingly Marie chose her Princess Dagmar Floral Tiara, a discrete pair of earrings and pendant used last week in Aarhus, this time as a necklace.

A Princesa Benedikte chegou sozinha ao evento.
Princess Benedikte came alone to the event.
A irmã da Rainha Margrethe usou um vestido rosa com capa que muito me fez lembrar o controverso vestido usado por Mary no casamento sueco de 2013 (mas sem a renda). 
Queen Margrethe's sister wore a pink dress with a cape that much reminded me of the controversial dress worn by Mary in the Swedish wedding in 2013 (but without the lace).
Bennie optou pela sua magnífica Fringe Tiara.

A Rainha Anne-Marie, irmã mais nova da aniversariante, chegou acompanhada pelo rei Constatine da Grécia.
Queen Anne-Marie, the younger sister of the birthday girl, arrived accompanied by King Constatine of Greece.

Anne-Marie escolheu um bonito vestido verde-água com aplicações de renda cinza. O Rei Constantine usou fraque.
Anne-Marie chose a beautiful sea-green dress with gray lace applications. King Constantine wore tails.


Anne-Marie não brinca em serviço e trouxe-nos as fantásticas esmeraldas do conjunto Queen Olga.

A Princesa Elizabeth, prima da aniversariante também compareceu..Como hábito a Princesa usou a sua habitual Princess Thyra's Diamond and Saphire Tiara.

Outra prima, a Condessa Sussi of Rosenborg também compareceu com a sua Queen Alexandrine Fringe Tiara
Princess Elizabeth, cousin of the birthday girl also attended. As usual the Princess wore her usual Princess Thyra Diamond and Sapphire Tiara.

Other cousin, Countess Sussi of Rosenborg also attended wearing her Queen Alexandrine Fringe Tiara.

O rei Philippe da Bélgica (que celebra hoje o seu 55º aniversário) chegou acompanhado da Rainha Mathilde que nos trouxe uma das alegrias da noite.
Philippe, King of Belgium (who today celebrates his 55th anniversary) arrived with the Queen Mathilde that brought us one of the joys of the night.

Mathilde optou por repetir o vestido fuscia Armani Privé que usou na recepção de casamento do Príncipe Albert II do Mónaco com a Princesa Charlene em 2011. A cor assenta maravilhosamente bem em Mathilde. Philippe usou uniforme.
Mathilde chose to repeat the fuchsia Armani Privé dress she wore at the wedding reception for Prince Albert II of Monaco with Princess Charlene in 2011. The color builds beautifully on Mathilde. Philipe wore an uniform.


Em dia de dupla celebração a Rainha dos Belgas trouxe-nos a Nine Provinces Tiara na sua máxima força pela primeira vez desde que é Rainha.

On a double celebration day the Queen of the Belgians brought us the Nine Provinces Tiara at its full strength for the first time since she became Queen.

No regresso às festas da realeza europeia, Felipe e Letizia não desapontaram. 
On their returning to European royalty parties, Felipe and Letizia did not disappoint us.

Letizia usou um vestido novo com padrão floral preto e branco, com um toque tipicamente espanhol. Confesso que não gostei do vestido. Destaca demasiado as formas muito magras da Rainha e não acho que seja muito elegante. Mas.....
Letizia wore a new dress with black and white floral pattern, with a touch typically Spanish. I confess that I did not like the dress. Highlights Letizia's thin forms and I do not think it's very elegant. But .....

Quero lá saber do vestido!!!! Acho que houve um momento de colapso generalizado quando nos deparamos com a Ansorena Fleur-de-Lis Tiara. Uma tiara que nunca tinha sido usada até então, oferta de Felipe a Letizia há alguns anos atrás. Uma tiara que muitos julgavam mito. Ora cá está ela e que venha para ficar porque se tornou neste momento a minha tiara espanhola favorita! E adivinhem lá? Leti voltou a usar o seu anel de noivado! Afinal é apenas um anel Bvlgari em ouro branco.

I do not care about the dress !!!! I think there was a time of widespread collapse when we were faced with the Ansorena Fleur-de-Lis Tiara. A tiara that had never been used until now, a reported Felipe 's gift to Letizia few years ago. A tiara that many thought a myth. Now here it is and please stay because it has become currently my favorite Spanish tiara! And guess what? Lati wore again her engagement ring! It´s aonly a white gold ring from Bvulgari.

Os reis da Holanda que ainda no mês passado estiveram num Jantar de Gala, voltaram mais discretos desta vez.
The Kings of the Netherlands that just last month were at a Danish Gala Dinner, returned more discreet this time.

Máxima muito discreta (para o que é hábito) usou um vestido preto que foi para mim o mais elegante da noite!Pelo menos a parte de cima!   Update: O vestido é VALENTINO e faz parte da antiga coleção Outono/Inverno 2007/2008. Willem-Alexander usou fraque.
A very dicreet Máxima (for what is usual) wore a black dress that was for me the most elegant of the night! At least the top part.  Update: The gown is part of the AW 2007/2008 VALENTINO collection. Willem-Alexander wore tails.

Confesso que estava muito curiosa em relação à escolha de tiara de Máxima. Não esperava isto. Apesar de adorar o Diamond Bandeau, esperava algo mais imponente (não me culpem, estamos a falar de Máxima!). Ainda assim muito bem Maxi!

I confess I was very curious about the choice of Maxima's tiara. I did not expect this. Even though I love the Diamond Bandeau, I expected something more impressive (do not blame me, we are talking about Máxi!). Still very well Maxi!

O Grã-Duque do Luxemburgo chegou sozinho. Henri usou uniforme.
The Luxembourg Grand Duke arrived alone. Henri wore an uniform.

A Noruega no dia de hoje foi representada pelo Rei Harald V. Ele usou uniforme.

Carl Gustav e Silvia da Suécia também marcaram presença na festa da vizinha Daisy.
Carl Gustav and Silvia of Sweden also attended the celebration of neighbor Daisy.

Silvia voltou a usar um vestido pêssego com um grande pormenor floral no ombro direito. O vestido já foi anteriormente visto, mas sofreu umas alterações. Á chegada a Rainha usou um bolero de peles branco. Dada a escolha de jóias gostaria de ver um vestido com uma cor mais escura. Carl Gustav usou unifome.
Silvia returned to wear a peach dress with a great floral detail on her right shoulder. The dress was previously seen, but has been altered. Upon arrival the Queen wore a white fur bolero. Given the choice of jewelry I would like to see a dress with a darker color. Carl Gustav wore an uniform.


A Rainha da Suécia escolheu o Leuchtenberg Parure de safiras. E quando se usa o Leuchtenberg uma rapariga não tem olhos para mais nada.

The Queen of Sweden chose the Leuchtenberg Parure with sapphires. And when someone uses the Leuchtenberg a girl has no eyes for anything else.

A realeza demorou a entrar no salão de festas, o que leva a pensar que uma espécie de foto de família deverá ter sido tirada para marcar a ocasião.
The royalty was slow to enter the ballroom, which suggests that some kind of family photo must have been taken to seal the moment.

Uma vez nos seus lugares, o Príncipe da Coroa Frederik começou o discurso de aniversário em inglês, não esquecendo de dar os parabéns ao rei Philippe da Bélgica (até falou frances). Depois, o herdeiro continuou em dinamarquês, num discurso que comoveu a soberana e causou várias gargalhadas na sala.
Once in place, the Crown Prince Frederik began the birthday speech in English, and didn´t forget to congratulate King Philippe of Belgium on his birthday (he even spoke in French). Then the heir continued in Danish, in a speech that moved the sovereign and caused several laughter in the room.

Brindes foram feitos. 
Toasts were made.

The Danish Prime-Minister also made a speech.

A chegada dos convidados foi seguida com muito entusiasmo no T&T, e a casa literalmente foi a baixo com a nova Tiara de Leti.
Só isso valeu a noite! Obrigada meninas e a todos os que nos seguiram!
The arrival of the guests was followed with much enthusiasm in T & T, and the house literally was down with the new Tiara  for Leti.
That alone was worth the night! Thank you girls and to all those who followed us!
