No passado Domingo teve lugar em Monte-Carlo, a 61ª Edição do famoso Baile da Rosa.
Last Sunday took place in Monte-Carlo, the 61st edition of the famous Rose Ball.

Este evento que se transformou numa tradição anual, foi organizado pela primeira vez em 1954 pela Princesa Grace do Mónaco. O Baile da Rosa tem lugar na prestigiada Salle des Etoiles no Sporting Club de Monte-Carlo.
This event which has become an annual tradition, was first organized in 1954 by Princess Grace of Monaco. The Rose Ball takes place in the prestigious Salle des Etoiles at the Sporting Club in Monte-Carlo.

O evento reúne a elite a alta sociedade internacional sendo um dos acontecimentos sociais mais esperados do ano. Durante uma noite o esplendor banha o Principado criando uma atmosfera de requinte, luzes e festividades. 
Todos os anos, o Baile tem um diferente tema que reúne artistas e novas tendências. Grandes nomes, como Karl Lagerfeld ajudam na organização dos aspectos criativos do evento, trazendo novos talentos e desafiando a imaginação de modo a criar um ambiente ímpar e surpreendente todos os 
anos.
The event brings together the elite and the international high society being one of the most anticipated social events of the year. Overnight the splendor bathes the Principality creating an atmosphere of refinement, lights and festivities.
Every year, the Ball has a different theme that brings together artists and new trends. Big names such as Karl Lagerfeld help in organizing the creative aspects of the event, bringing new talents and challenging the imagination to create a unique and amazing environment each year.

O Baile da Rosa é acima de tudo um evento com cariz solidário. Todos os lucros revertem a favor da Fundação Princesa Grace desde 1964. Esta fundação visa ajudar pessoas e principalmente crianças em dificuldade com o objectivo de criar e desenvolver projectos humanitários e filantrópicos.
The Rose Ball is above all a charity event. All profits revert to the Princess Grace Foundation since 1964. This foundation aims to help people and especially children in difficulty with the aim of creating and developing humanitarian and philanthropic projects.

Este ano com o tema Art Déco como linha orientadora, Monte-Carlo abriu mais uma vez as suas portas para este grande evento. Como é hábito, vários membros da Família Grimaldi marcaram presença.
This year with the Art Deco theme as a guideline, Monte-Carlo opened again its doors to this great event. As usual, several members of the Grimaldi family attended.

Este ano, a Princesa Charlene não compareceu. O nascimento dos pequenos príncipes Jacques e Gabriella em Dezembro passado pode explicar a sua ausência.
This year, the Princess Consort Charlene did not attend. The birth of the little twin princes Jacques and Gabriella last December may explain her absence.


O papel de Primeira-Dama foi assegurado pela Princesa Caroline de Hanover que acompanhou o soberano monegasco, Albert II à chegada.
The role of First Lady was provided by Princess Caroline of Hanover who accompanied her brother,  Prince Albert II, the Monaco's sovereign  on the arrival.

A Princesa estava resplandecente num longo vestido branco com aplicações de brilhantes nas alças e cintura, que muito provavelmente foi desenhado para si pelo criativo da casa Chanel, o seu amigo de longa data Karl Lagerfeld.
The Princess was resplendent in a long white dress with bright applications on the straps and waist, which most likely was designed for her by the Chanel's creative, her  longtime trusted friend, Karl Lagerfeld.

No entanto o que mais sobressaiu, foi o fantástico colar que usou. A peça, pertence à casa Grimaldi, é pode ser também usada como tiara (pelo menos especula-se que sim). Foi maravilhoso ver esta Fringe Tiara Necklace mais uma vez.
However what stood out most was the fantastic necklace she used. The piece belongs to the house Grimaldi, and can also be used as a tiara (at least many think so). It was wonderful to see this Fringe Tiara Necklace again.

Entre os mais novos, destaque para Charlotte Casiraghi que foi uma das presenças mais animadas da noite.
Among the young,  Charlotte Casiraghi who was one of the liveliest presence of the night.


A filha mais velha de Caroline usou um vestido rosa, com detalhes pretos da linha Chanel Couture Primavera 2015, como vem sendo hábito. Como também vem a ser hábito não me convenceu...
The eldest daughter of Caroline wore a pink dress with black details from Chanel Couture Spring 2015, as usual. Also, as usual, she did not convince me ...

Valeu a sua cara sempre bonita...
Well, but seeing her pretty face is allways a bonus, I think...

A Rainha da noite foi a meu ver Beatrice Barromeo. A noiva de Pierre Casiraghi, filho mais novo de Caroline, foi o sinónimo de elegância e beleza num longo vestido dourado que destacou a sua esbelta figura e o seu cabelo louro que usou ligeiramente ondulado e semi-apanhado.
The Queen of the night was in my opinion Beatrice Barromeo. Pierre Casiraghi's bride (younger son of Caroline), was the synonymous of elegance and beauty in a long golden dress that highlighted her slender figure and her blonde hair slightly wavy and used half up.


O casal que alegadamente irá casar em Abril, pareceu estar a treinar para a festa do grande dia, e foi notória a cumplicidade e paixão que os une.
The couple who will allegedly married in April, appeared to be training for the big day party, and was notorious the complicity and passion between them.

Ausentes também estiveram Andrea a Tatiana Casiraghi, quase a serem pais pela segunda vez.
Absent were also Andrea Casiraghi and his wife Tatiana, about to become parents for the second time.
