Casamento Imperial no Japão / Japanese Imperial Wedding

Como muitos de vós têm vindo a solicitar que se fale um pouco mais sobre as monarquias mais distantes, hoje trago-vos um presente.
How many of you have been asking me to speak a bit more about the most distant monarchies, today I bring you a gift. 

A princesa Noriko de Takamado, filha da Princesa Takamado e do falecido Príncipe Takamado (primo do Imperador) casou no passado fim-de-semana com Kunimaro Senge, filho do Sumo Sacerdote do Grande Santuário de Izumo. O anúncio do noivado foi feito alguns meses atrás.
Princess Noriko of Takamado , daughter of Princess Takamado and the late Prince Takamado (cousin of the Emperor) married last weekend with Kunimaro Senge, son of the High Priest of the Grand Shrine of Izumo. The engagement announcement was made a few months ago.

A Agência da Casa Imperial divulgou algumas fotografias  das cerimónias que antecederam o casamento da Princesa Imperial.
Noriko participou em duas cerimónias prévias ao casamento.
The Imperial Household Agency released some photos of the ceremonies leading up to the wedding of the Imperial Princess. 
Noriko participated in two ceremonies prior to the wedding. 

Após o casamento com o Sr. Senge, Noriko deixa de fazer parte da Família Imperial e nesse sentido as despedidas têm que ser feitas.
A primeira cerimónia teve lugar no Santuário fora do Palácio Imperial, no qual a Princesa se despediu dos Deuses Ancestrais da Família Imperial. Para o efeito, a Princesa usou as vestes tradicionais completas da corte japonesa e um lindo kimono. O penteado foi também muito tradicional.
After her marriage with Mr. Senge, Noriko is no longer part of the Imperial Family and so the farewells are in order.
The first ceremony took place at the Shrine outside the Imperial Palace, in which the princess paid her respects to the Imperial Family Ancestry Gods. To this end, the Princess wore the full traditional dress of the Japanese court and a beautiful kimono. The hairstyle was also very traditional.

De seguida a Princesa Noriko despediu-se dos Imperadores numa cerimónia que teve lugar no Palácio Imperial.

Then the Princess Noriko attended a Farewell Ceremony to the Emperors in a ceremony held at the Imperial Palace.

Para a solene ocasião a Princesa optou por um modelo mais moderno de vestido de corte para se despedir do Imperador e da Imperatriz. Como todas as mulheres da família Imperial, a Princesa recebeu um parure de jóias quando atingiu a idade. Neste caso destacam-se uma tiara e colar de diamantes e pérolas com arabescos com padrão de onda. Foi a última vez que Noriko usou uma tiara.

For the solemn occasion the Princess opted for a more modern model of court dress to say goodbye to the Emperor and Empress. Like all women of the Imperial family, the princess received a parure of jewelry when she reached the age. In this case a tiara and necklace of diamonds and pearls with wave pattern scrolls. It was the last time Noriko wore a tiara.

Foi muito bonito ver a despedida da Princesa. Não percebo nada do que a Imperatriz Michiko disse, mas adorei a voz dela.

It was beautiful to see the farewell of the Princess. I don´t understand a word but I must say: how sweet is Empress Michiko's voice??

No dia 4 a Princesa Noriko, acompanhada da sua mãe a Princesa Isako de Takamado (conhecida por Princesa Takamado) chega a Izumo para o casamento que teria lugar no dia seguinte.
On 4th October,  Princess Noriko, accompanied by her mother Princess Isako of Takamado (known as Princess Takamado) arrived to Izumo  for the wedding that would take place the next day.

O casamento de Noriko e Kunimaro Senge tem lugar no dia 5 no Grande Santuário de Uzumo Taisha. Após a cerimónia Noriko perde o título de Princesa e passa a ser conhecida como Sra. Noriko Senge.
The marriage of Noriko and Kunimaro Senge took place on the 5th at the Uzumo Taisha Grand Shrine. After the ceremony Noriko lost her Princess title and becomes known as Mrs.. Noriko Senge.

De seguida os recém-casados receberam os votos de parabéns de várias crianças que agitavam bandeiras do Império do Sol Nascente.
Then the newlyweds received the votes of congratulations from several children who waved flags of the Empire of the Rising Sun.

A recepção privada do casamento teve lugar ontem no Hotel Ichihata, em Matsue à qual compareceram cerca de 280 convidados e amigos no novo casal. Terá sido oferecido a cada convidado uma recordação com o símbolo da casa imperial japonesa - um crisântemo.
The private wedding reception was held yesterday at Hotel Ichihata in Matsue attended by about 280 guests and friends of the new couple. It has been offered to each guest a bomboniere with the symbol of the Japanese imperial household - a chrysanthemum.

Amanhã terá lugar um Banquete no Hotel New Otano em Tóquio. Alguns membros da família imperial, com excepção dos Imperadores, irão comparecer à recepção assim como representantes dos três ramos do governo.
Tomorrow there will be a banquet at the Hotel New Otano in Tokyo. Some members of the imperial family, with the exception of the Emperors, will attend the reception as well as representatives of the three branches of government. 

Um pouco de conhecimento da tradição imperial japonesa que é bem diferente da cultura ocidental.
A little knowledge of the Japanese imperial tradition that is very different from Western culture.
