É uma menina / It´s a girl!

Nasceu ontem (Dia do Pai em vários países) o primeiro filho do Príncipe Félix e da Princesa Claire do Luxemburgo.

A criança, uma menina, é a primeira neta do Grão-Duque Henri e da Grã-Duquesa Maria Teresa do Luxemburgo, e terceira na linha de sucessão ao trono.

Yesterday (Father's Day in many countries) the first child of Prince Felix and Princess Claire of Luxembourg was born.

The child, a girl, is the first granddaughter of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg, and third in line of succession to the throne.

O novo membro da Família Grã-Ducal veio ao mundo na Maternidade do Hospital Grã-Duquesa Charlotte com 2.950 quilogramas e com 50 centímetros de comprimento. Félix esteve presente durante o nascimento e tanto mãe e bebé se encontram bem de saúde.

The new member of the Grand Ducal Family came into the world in the Maternity of Grand Duchess Charlotte Hospital with 2950 kilograms and 50 centimeters long. Félix was present during the birth and both mother and baby are in good health.

A menina recebeu um verdadeiro nome de Princesa: Amalia Gabriela Maria Teresa. Uma homenagem clara ás avós da criança (Gabriele Schneider e a Grã-Duquesa Maria Teresa).

A menina ostentará os títulos de Princesa de Nassau e Princesa de Bourbon-Parma, não sendo considerada no entanto Princesa do Luxemburgo, porque não é filha do Príncipe Herdeiro (Félix é o segundo filho dos soberanos do Luxemburgo).

The girl received a truly royal name: Amalia Gabriela Maria Teresa. A clear tribute to the child's grandmothers (Gabriele Schneider and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa). 

The girl will bear the titles of Princess of Nassau and Princess of Bourbon-Parma, not being considered however a Princess of Luxembourg, because she is a daughter of a Grand-Duke younger son (Félix is the second son of the sovereign of Luxembourg).
