O melhor de 2013 - Princesa Mette-Marit da Noruega / The best of 2013 - Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway

É verdade! Aposto que estavam ansiosos por isto. O momento em que passamos em retrospectiva o ano que está a chegar ao fim e seleccionamos o melhor e também o pior em termos de estilo das nossas princesas (e agora também rainhas) favoritas. Um ano verdadeiramente difícil de escolher para muitas damas reais.

Três categorias: "Eu sou Princesa/Rainha", "Requinte é Classe", e (a categoria mais esperada, acho eu) "Grrr".

Critérios? Apenas o meu gosto pessoal.

It's true! I bet you were looking forward to this. The time we look  in retrospect the last year and we select the best and also the worst in terms of style of our favorite princesses (and two of them now Queens). One year truly difficult to choose for many royal ladies.

Three categories:"I´m a Princess/Queen", "Polish is Classy", and (the most anticipated category, I think) "Grrr".

Criteria? Just my personal taste.

Neste ano que passou a futura Rainha da Noruega passou um pouco desapercebida. Esteve presente em todos os eventos reais de grande importância que acontecerem em 2012, como as Entronizações da Holanda e Bélgica e o casamento real na Suécia, visitou os Estados Unidos e compareceu a vários eventos nacionais. Houve ainda tempo para celebrar o seu 40º aniversário em Agosto, curiosamente no mesmo mês que o marido também completou 40 anos. No entanto um problema de saúde que acabou por conduzir a uma cirurgia nas coluna cervical, levou a uma redução da agenda da princesa na segunda metade do ano, após a férias de Verão. Em relação a estilo, bem sabemos que a esposa do príncipe Haakon é muito peculiar. Geralmente em ocasiões de gala não falha, mas tirando isso é sempre um risco. Optou geralmente por vestidos combinados com casacos, ou conjuntos de saia e casaco de combinação mais ou menos bem sucedida.

This past year the future Queen of Norway passed a bit unnoticed. She was present in all the royal events of great importance that happen in 2012, like the enthronement days in the Netherlands and Belgium and the Royal Wedding in Sweden, she payed a visit to the United States and attended several national events. There was still time to celebrate her 40th birthday in August, curiously the same month that her husband also turned 40. However a health problem that eventually led to surgery in the cervical spine, leading to a reduction of the Princess's agenda in the second half of the year, after the summer.  Regarding style, we know that the wife of Prince Haakon is very peculiar. Usually at gala occasions she does not fail, but otherwise is always a risk. Generally opted for dressescombined with coats or skirt and jacket sets of more or less successful combination.

Não existiam grandes dúvidas. Não houve muitas oportunidades para um evento de tiara este ano, mas a Princesa da Coroa da Noruega foi na minha opinião das mais bem-vestidas no casamento da Princesa Madeleine da Suécia com Christopher O'neill em Junho. O vestido de renda azul claro é uma das cores perfeitas para M-M. O lindo penteado a a tiara de ametistas combinaram o conjunto de uma maneira leve, doce e perfeita.

There were no great doubts in here. There were not many opportunities for a tiara event this year, but the Crown Princess of Norway was in my opinion one of the most well-dressed at the wedding of Princess Madeleine of Sweden with Christopher O'neill, last June. The light blue lace dress was the perfect color choice for MM. A gorgeous hairstyle matching the amethyst tiara made a light, sweet and perfect look.

Categoria difícil de escolher para M-M. Escolhi-a pela simplicidade do conjunto que ainda assim possui detalhes de requinte nos bordados da blusa e no tecido da saia e nos sapatos Valentino. Este look foi apresentado na visita do casal da Coroa aos Estados Unidos.

Difficult category to choose for M-M. I chose this for the simplicity of the set that still has details of refinement on the embroidered blouse or on the skirt fabric and the Valentino shoes. This look was unveiled at the Crown couple's visit to the United States.

A maneira completamente errada como a Princesa Mette-Marit resolveu combinar este vestido H&M, ainda se tornou mais errada depois de vermos a Princesa da Coroa Mary da Dinamarca com o mesmo vestido.

De todas as pessoas do mundo ser comparada com a Princesa Mary é uma completa injustiça, mas é difícil não superar isto! Acho eu...

The completely wrong way Princess Mette-Marit decided to combine this H&M dress, has also become more wrong after seeing  Crown Princess Mary of Denmark wearing the same dress.
