Com o continente europeu a tremer com a chegada do frio e dos primeiros nevões, os novos reis da Holanda rumaram as paradisíacas e quentes Antilhas holandesas, localizadas no mar das Caraíbas para uma visita de 9 dias às seis ilhas do território holandês no ultra-mar. Trata-se de mais uma visita introdutória na sequência da subida ao trono de Willem-Alexander e Maxima em Abril passado
Hoje falaremos apenas dos primeiros 4 dias.
With the European continent trembling with the arrival of the cold and the first snow, the new kings of the Netherlands headed to the idyllic and warm Dutch Antilles, located in the Caribbean sea, to a nine days vist to the six islands of the Dutch territory over-seas. This is another introductory visit following the accession to the throne of Willem-Alexander and Maxima last April
Today we will speak only of the first four days.
Dia 1 / Day 1
O primeiro dia da visita oficial começou na bonita ilha de St. Maarten.
Na cerimónia de boas-vindas, o casal real foi recebido por centenas de cidadãos e pelo governador de St.Maarten, Sr. Eugene Holiday. O Rei inspeccionou as tropas e o casal reuniu com membros do Parlamento e do Conselho de Ministros local.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands began their first day visit in the beautiful island of St. Maarten.
The day began with a welcoming ceremony where they were warmly greeted by hundreds of locals as well as by the governor of St. Maarten, Mr. Eugene Holiday. After the inspection of the guards the royal couple met with members of Parliament and the Council of Ministers.
Da parte da tarde o casal de soberanos visitaram o Colégio Milton Peters e o Complexo Desportivo Illidge Sports e passaram pelo centro histórico da capital da ilha, Philipsburg.
In the afternoon, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited the Milton Peters College and the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex and they completed a walkabout through the historic city center.
De noite, o casal compareceu ao Festival Jovem de Talentos, onde 250 alunos de várias escolas de dança actuaram.
In the evening, the reigning couple attended the Youth Showcase in Festival Village featuring performances by some 250 pupils of several dance schools.
Estilo/Style
Maxima usou dois looks neste dia. Ambos já vistos anteriormente. Durante o dia, usou um lindo vestido Natan com cores muito suaves que completou com um chapéu Fabienne Delvigne, um conjunto rosa de brincos, anel e pulseiras, luvas, mala de mão e sapatos em tons neutros e uma encharpe castanha que achei desnecessária na primeira metade do dia. Este vestido é sempre um vencedor para mim.
Maxima showed two looks on this day. Both seen before. During the day, she wore a beautiful dress from Natan with very soft colors which she completed with a Fabienne Delvigne hat, a set of pink earrings, rings and bracelets, gloves, handbag and shoes in neutral shades and a brown encharpe I found unnecessary in the first half of the day. This dress is allways a winner for me.
No evento nocturno, Maxima reciclou um colorido e fresco vestido do designer argentino Bendito Fernandez que tinha usado no casamento real grego de 2010. Maxima completou o look com as fantásticas águas-marinhas dos cofres da casa real holandesa e com uma clutch dourada da Bvlgari e sandálias Sérgio Rossi.
At the evening event, Maxima recycled a colorful and fresh dress from the Argentine designer Bendito Fernandez she wore at the Greek royal wedding in 2010. Maxima completed the look with fantastic aquamarines from the Dutch royal house vault and a golden clutch from Bvlgari and Sergio Rossi sandals.
Dia 2 / Day 2
No segundo dia de viagem, Willem-Alexander e Maxi descolocaram-se à ilha de Saba para uma visita de um dia.
À chegada foram recebidos por vários representantes oficiais e alguns estudantes de uma escola local.
Mais tarde os reis visitaram a Baía Spring, onde inauguraram um quadro informativo acerca do inicio da construção de um novo trilho na baía.
On the second day of the tour King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands arrived on the island of Saba for a one-day visit. At the arrival they met with local officials and students from a local school. Later they visited the Spring Bay Heritage Trail where they unveiled a new information board at the start of the trail.
Tempo ainda para uma visita a uma quinta orgânica, onde o casal conheceu mais acerca dos processos de cultivo e colheita e provou alguns dos produtos orgânicos que são cultivados na quinta.
Mais tarde o casal assistiu a uma apresentação cultural no Campo de Desportos Princesa Juliana e compareceu a uma recepção e almoço oferecidos em sua honra pelo oficiais do governo local e conheceram o Projecto Under the Hill Social Housing.
An hour and a half later the reigning couple arrived at the Organoponics Farm where they were given a tour and tasted organic produce grown on the farm. Later the royal couple watched a cultural presentation at Princess Juliana Sports Field, attended a reception and luncheon held in their honor with local government officials, and visited the EU Under the Hill Social Housing Project where they met with residents as well as toured several homes.
De noite, após o retorno para St. Maarten os novos reis da Holanda compareceram a uma recepção.
At night, after returning to St. Maarten the new kings of the Netherlands attended a reception.

Mais uma vez dois looks já nossos conhecidos.
Durante o dia Maxima escolheu um vestido amarelo Natan que combinou com acessórios nude. Chamo a atenção para a pulseira de diamantes usada (aparentemente pela primeira vez) com vários corações e com vários A's. Talvez um tributo às filhas, cujos nomes começam por A ((Catharina) Amalia, Alexia e Ariane), também conhecidas como a Equipa-A da Holanda. Giro!

During the day Maxima chose a yellow dress from Natan which she combined with nude accessories. I call your attention to the diamond bracelet she wore (apparently for the first time) with various hearts and many A's. Perhaps a tribute to her daughters, whose names begin with A ((Catharina) Amalia, Alexia and Ariane), also known as the A-Team from the Netherlands. Cute!
Para a recepção a rainha voltou a escolher um vestido de cocktail laranja da coleção Primavera-Verão 2005 Valentino, que combinou com sapatos Natan e acessórios castanhos. Um look que deixou muito a desejar...
For the reception the Queen chose again the cocktail orange dress from Valentino Spring-Summer 2005 collection, which seh combined with brown shoes and accessories by Natan. A look that I didn´t like it at all...
Dia 3/ Day 3
No terceiro dia de visita, o Rei Willem-Alexander e a Rainha Maxima visitaram a pequena ilha de St. Eustatius. À chegada foram recebidos por vários oficiais locais e de seguida visitaram a Feira da Ciência, onde viram as apresentações de crianças de cinco escolas locais.
On the third day of official visit, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands arrived on the small island of St. Eustatius for a one-day tour. The day began with a reception held in their honor where they met with local officials and dignitaries. Then, they attended a Science Fair when they saw presentations by children from five schools.
Mais tarde o casal real compareceu a uma recepção e almoço oferecidos pelas entidades locais e visitaram a plantação Hazel onde conheceram trabalhadores e instalações. Tempo ainda para uma visita ao Museu Histórico local e ao Parque Wilhelmina onde assistiram a uma festival cultural.
In the afternoon, the royal couple attended a gala luncheon hosted by the island’s government officials. Soon, the reigning couple arrived at Hazel’s Plantation where they met with staff and were given a tour of the facility. Thereafter, they visited the St. Eustatius Historical Foundation Museum where they viewed an exhibition and attended a cultural festival held at Wilhelmina Park

Como uma boa representante da casa de Orange, Maxima escolheu um já visto vestido laranja de Natan que combinou com um chapéu a condizer a acessórios castanhos.
As a good representative of the house of Orange, Maxima chose one already seen orange dress by Natan which she combined with a matching hat with brown accessories.
Dia 4 / Day 4
No quarto dia de visita, o casal real deslocou-se à ilha de Bonaire. Após a recepção no aeroporto, o casal dirigiu-se para a Praça Wilhelmina onde conviveram com vários populares, assistiram a demonstrações desportivas e presenciaram o lançamento da campanha Bebe Awa.
On the fourth day visit, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands arrived on the island of Bonaire for a one-day tour.The day began with a reception at the Airport with various dignitaries and officials. Soon, the reigning couple were driven to Wilhelmina Square in Kralendijk where they mingled with the locals, watched various sports demonstrations, and witnessed the launch of the Bebe Awa campaign.
Mais tarde visitaram a Fundação de Psiquiatria para a a Adição, almoçaram com o governador de Bonair e com vários membros do governo local. Willem-Alexander e Máxima visitaram ainda nesta ilha um Centro para Idosos, uma exposição de fotografias, Dare to Share, e compareceram a uma recepção dada em sua honra pelo governador de Bonaire.
Thereafter, they visited the Stichting Verslavingszorg en Psychiatrie (Foundation and Addiction Psychiatry), had lunch with the governor of Bonaire as well as with other government officials, visited a day care center for the elderly, viewed a photo exhibition entitled, Dare to Share, and attended a reception held in their honor which was hosted by the governor of Bonaire.

Pela primeira vez nesta visita um vestido novo: mais uma vez da casa Natan. Maxima comletou o look com sapatos e mala cor-de rosa, e luvas e chapéu em tom mais claro e brincos de coral e diamantes.
For the first time on this visit a new dress: once again from the Natan design house. Maxima finished the look with pink shoes and purse, and gloves and hat in lighter shade and coral and diamond earrings.
