60 anos no trono/ 60 years on the throne

A Rainha Elizabeth II compareceu ontem juntamente com vários membros da família Real ao serviço religioso na Abadia de Westminster naquele que foi o palco da sua coroação há exactamente 60 anos atrás, a 2 de Junho de 1953.

Queen Elizabeth II attended yesterday along with several members of the Royal family to the religious service at Westminster Abbey that was the scene of her coronation  exactly 60 years ago on June 2nd, 1953.

Muitas dúvidas acerca da presença daquele que é o seu companheiro dos bons e maus momentos, Philip, Duque de Edimburgo, que na véspera adoeceu, lançando uma espécie de dejá vú quando o ano passado nas comemorações do Jubileu de Diamante da Rainha, o duque foi hospitalizado e teve inclusive de ser internado, falhando algumas comemorações.

No entanto, o Duque parece ter recuperado e toda a família esteve presente num evento solene com todo o cerimonial que a Casa de Windsor nos habituou.

Many questions about the presence of a certain royal member who is the lifetime companion of the Queen, in good and bad times, Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, who fell ill on the eve,  launching a kind of deja vu when last year at the celebrations of the Diamond Jubilee, the Duke was hospitalized failing some celebrations.

However, the Duke seems better and the whole family attended a solemn event with all the ceremonial that the House of Windsor has accustomed us.

Ao assistir à cerimónia não consegui deixar de pensar que 60 anos é uma vida. E no quão nova Lilibeth era quando foi coroada Rainha da Instituição monárquica mais famosa de sempre. 

Watching the ceremony, Icould not help thinking that 60 years is a lifetime. And how new Lilibeth was when she was crowned Queen of the most famous monarchical institution o the world.

A emoção foi notória no semblante da Rainha que foi bastante ovacionada à chegada à Abadia. Abadia essa que não era palco de um evento real desde o casamento dos Duques de Cambridge em Abril de 2011.

The excitement was evident on the Queen face who was quite cheered on arrival at the Abbey. The Abbey  was not a  vanue for a royal event since the wedding of the Dukes of Cambridge in April 2011.

Com os Windsor em peso nesta cerimónia, a análise dos looks das damas é imperativa. E posso dizer que regra geral todas estiveram muito bem. 

The Windsor family came to this ceremony, and so the analysis of the looks of the ladies is imperative. And I can say that generally all were fine.

Não me consegui decidir. A Condessa de Wessex volta a mostrar que é cada vez mais um sinónimo de elegância e uma lufada de ar fresco no seio da monarquia britânica. Aquele conjunto em renda branca não era apenas apropriado, era feminino, e encantador. O único erro foram mesmo as sandálias de tiras...

A Princesa Beatrice de York, arrebatou-me com este sóbrio conjunto em estilo vintage (percebem porque me arrebatou?). Chique de fazer impressão!! Extra pontos para o chapéu.

I could not decide. The Countess of Wessex back to show that she is increasingly a synonymous of elegance and a breath of fresh air within the British monarchy. That set in white lace was not only appropriate, was feminine, and charming. The only mistake was those strappy sandals ...

Princess Beatrice of York, snatched me with this sober set in vintage style (do you understand now??). Super chic! Extra points for the hat.

Melhor em jovem requinte/ Best in young polish

Pois, é assim: todas as jovens senhoras da casa real estavam apropriadas. Cores suaves para a Duquesa de Cambridge e Autumm Philips e looks mais coloridos para a Princesa Eugenie de York e Zara Philips. Confesso que começa a aborrecer-me o estilo de Catherine, com gravidez ou sem gravidez, é sempre igual. Principalmente quando usa chapéus. Adorei a cor e o conjunto de Eugenie, mas não gostei daqueles fechos no casaco. Ninguém me cativou nesta secção.

Decidam vocês quem esteve melhor.

And so it is: all the young ladies of the royal house were appropriate. Soft colors for the Duchess of Cambridge and Autumm Philips and more colorful looks for Princess Eugenie of York and Zara Philips. I confess that begins to annoy me the style of Catherine, with pregnancy or no pregnancy, it is always the same. Especially when using hats. Loved the color of Eugenie's outfit, but didn´t like those zippers in the jacket. No one really caught my eye in here.

Camilla

Normalmente sou uma fã da Princesa Michael de Kent (à direita na fotografia), mas desta vez achei os comprimentos daquelas peças desadequados. A princesa Anne podia estar muito bem, se não combinasse a suavidade do rosa com aqueles acessórios pretos (deve ter aprendido com a mãe). Por isso Camilla, Duquesa da Cornualha, foi a melhor num conjunto em tons suaves que sempre a favorecem.

Normally I'm a fan of Princess Michael of Kent style (right in photo), but this time I found the lengths of those pieces (dress and jacket) inadequate. Princess Anne might be fine, if not combine the softness of pink  with black accessories (must have learned from her mother). So Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, was the best with soft tones that always favor her.

Nunca achei a Rainha um sinónimo de elegância, mesmo para a sua idade. Aquela mala preta é somente aborrecida. Mas quando olho para o padrão do tecido usado (muito semelhante ao vestido da coroação) e aquele chapéu com aquele pormenor floral de lado, eu baixo os braços... ÉS A MAIOR MA'AM!!!! Muitos Parabéns!!

Never thought the Queen as a synonym of elegance, even for her age. That black handbag is just boring. But when I look at the pattern of the fabric used on the dresscoat (very similar to the dress of Coronation) and that hat with that floral detail aside, I give up ... MA'AM , YOU ARE THE BEST!!
