Novas Fotografias Oficiais da Bélgica / New Official Photographs from Belgium

Ontem foi divulgada, pela Casa Real Belga, um conjunto de novas fotografias oficiais.

Yesterday the Belgian Royal House released a set of new official photographs.

As fotografias foram divulgadas por ocasião do 5º aniversário da subida ao trono do Rei Philippe no próximo dia 21 de Julho. No mesmo dia celebra-se a tradicional Festa Nacional.

The photographs were released on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of King Philippe's accession to the throne on  the next 21 July. On the same day the traditional Belgium National Day is celebrated.

Philippe e Mathilde sucederam aos antigos monarcas, o Rei Albert II e a Rainha Paola, no seguimento da abdicação do Rei em 2013. Philippe é o 7º Rei dos Belgas e Mathilde tornou-se a primeira rainha consorte belga nascida na Bélgica.

Philippe and Mathilde succeeded the former monarchs, King Albert II and Queen Paola, following the King's abdication in 2013. Philippe is the 7th King of the Belgians and Mathilde became the first Belgian-born Queen of the Belgians.

Uma das fotografias mostra o casal real com os seus quatro filhos a caminhar nos jardins do Castelo de Laeken, principal residência dos monarcas belgas. De certa forma gostaria que as crianças estivessem vestidas de forma menos formal.

One of the photographs shows the royal couple with their four children walking in Laeken Castle's gardens, the main residence of the Belgian monarchs.. In a way I wish the kids were dressed in a less formal way.

Por último a minha fotografia favorita: Philippe posa com a sua filha e herdeira Elisabeth, Duquesa de Brabant. Elisabeth está uma jovem encantadora que completará 17 anos em Outubro e também mal posso esperar para vê-la com tiara.

Finally my favorite photo: Philippe poses with his daughter and heir Elisabeth, Duchess of Brabant. Elisabeth is a charming young woman who will turn 17 in October and I can not wait to see her in a tiara.
