Rainha Margrethe II mantém tradição durante período de Luto / Queen Margrethe II maintains tradition during court mourning period

Eu não sei quanto a vocês, mas eu sinto imensas saudades da nossa Mary da Dinamarca. A corte dinamarquesa está em período de luto, durante um mês pela morte do Príncipe Henrik, o que significa que todos os eventos do calendário real foram cancelados/adiados. Mas ontem, dias antes do luto oficial acabar, a Rainha e o Casal herdeiro marcaram presença num Jantar para os vencedores dos Prémios de Serviços Duradouros prestados na Defesa e na Força Área, no Palácio de Fredensborg. Todos os anos, a Rainha Margrethe II realiza um jantar em homenagem aos destinatários dos Prémios de Serviços Duradouros, respectivamente, para o Exército, a Marinha e a Força Aérea.

O jantar é realizado alternadamente entre os três ramos, e este ano os convidados foram oficiais do Exército e da Força Aérea que foram homenageados pelo seu serviço de 25 anos. Este jantar decorre sempre a 11 de Março e a Casa Real não quis mudar esta tradição, embora refira que este ano, o tom do jantar seria "mais sóbrio".

I do not know about you, but I really miss our Mary of Denmark. The Danish court is in mourning for a month over the death of Prince Henrik, which means that all events in the royal calendar have been canceled / postponed. But yesterday, days before the official mourning was over, the Queen and the Crown Prince Couple were present at a Dinner for the Recipients of Long Service Awards from Defense and Area Force at Fredensborg Palace. Every year, Queen Margrethe II hosts a dinner honoring the recipients of the Long Service Awards, respectively, for the Army, Navy and Air Force.

The dinner is held alternately between the three branches, and this year the guests were Army and Air Force officers who were honored for their 25 year service. This dinner always takes place on March 11 and the Royal House did not want to change this tradition, although it says that this year the tone of the dinner would be "more sober" .

Não existem muitas fotografias disponíveis, mas podemos ver Mary com um vestido azul escuro (que por vezes parece preto) com uma manga em renda. Á chegada a Princesa usou uma capa que não resultou numa combinação muito feliz, na minha opinião. Devo dizer que quem me arrebatou o coração foi mesmo a Rainha num vestido simples preto.

There are not many photos available, but we can see Mary in a dark blue dress (which sometimes looks black) with a lace sleeve. Upon arriving the Princess wore a cape that did not work very well in my opinion. I must say that the one who took my breath away was really the Queen in a simple black dress.
